But that was at that moment, when she RC was 1 year. Now its been 7 years from that, and for this re-release they could have "updated" the booklet with Céline pictures. Or they could have used both, RC collage and Céline's photoshoot

I think the symbolism of "A New Day" was captured in the RC collage. The remaining photos that really didn't get played up that much were awesome... when you watch the behind the scenes DVD of AND and see some of the photo shoot, you can tell the photos were sexy.

 

Melvin's photo was kinda provocative, maybe something a little too much for the color of the album? Still an awesome shot, and I would LURVE to see more!

Yes, it was amazing. One picture leaked and it was actually quite nice featuring her natural hair. She ditched the project for it was truly not fitting to the concept of the album.

 

And a very nice find indeed! It's exactly the photo Céline talked about in the Billboard magazine - "verious emotions in facial pictures".

The one in 2002 when they talked about her ANDHC album. They gave us one of the pics where she is on het natural hair and the background is white. I have this pic.

Dion struggled over an appropriate image for the cover of the album, feeling that a portrait reflecting her good fortune was in poor taste: "What am I supposed to project to the lens?" she asks. "I'm happy and strong, but I couldn't commit myself to smile, as if to say, 'Who cares? She's happy, she has a child.' At the same time, I felt very weak and small with everything that's happened in the world . . . and yet I didn't want to look down and be miserable, because we need something positive, to be able to look forward . . ."

Dion suggested to Sony that the album cover not include her picture. However, after much discussion, in late December, noted New York City photographer Melvin Sokolsky shot a montage of Dion where several different angles of her face will convey various emotions.

Guys!! I almost can't belive it, ]Melvin Sokolly replied my email and not only that, he has uploaded 2 more pictures of Céline on his website!! Go there to check it!!!

 

They are now in colour and we can see now Céline's hair! Its absolutely amazing, she has never had that hair for a photoshoot!

 

And look on her face in the second picture (the one with three faces). Isn't orgasminc??

What an amazing excitement is to be discovering these new pictures, 6 years after the release of the album? Now this is the real collector's bonus material , not what they released the 29th january!

 

Wish we could contact Andre Rau (All The Way photoshoot) or Randée St Nicholas for more, shall we try?
