Celine Dion Unplugged: Will an album like this ever happen?!

that's a great idea. i would love to hear and see celine perform in a small intimate venue like mariah did in 1992. but i think, for now, its imposible for her to come out with an unplugged album.

If she ever releases another "live" album, I hope it would be in this vein. It would be such a shame if this never happened bec. it would suit her voice to a T. I would like to hear these songs in their unplugged versions: Halfway to Heaven, I Remember LA, Falling Into You, If That's What It Takes, Immortality, Ten Days, My Love, Surprise, Surpise. Oh yes.........

Celine has always really about large, over the top productions. Everything over produced, big sets. Hey, she's been Miss Las Vegas for the past 5 years. So something unplugged would be outstanding. But I'm not holding my breath.

I would be satisfied with a studio album containing different versions of her greatest songs, including a complete different version of MHWGO. I really don't think she'll ever make an unplugged album, so with that other one I'd be pleased.

I like the "Celine Revisited" idea a lot. Last year when CelineDion.com let us ask questions about the 10yr anniversary of FIY, that was one of the questions I asked... it was something like "Would you like to re-record any of the songs now that you're at a different point in your life? How would they sound different?" But my question wasn't selected. LOL

 

ALTHOUGH, the idea of an unplugged album would be awesome.

 

Remember the LTAL world tour, with the acoustic medley? For the American leg of the tour, didn't she sing "Tears in Heaven", "TFTEISYF" and something else? I remember it being awesome... it used to be on youtube.com, but I couldnt find it.

 

And also, remember the ANDHC TV special when she sang MHWGO, BYLM and BATB? Those sounded AWESOME... I could see some more of her work sounding like that.

 

Both are awesome ideas!
