Black Kitten Posted January 23, 2008 at 01:10 AM Posted January 23, 2008 at 01:10 AM i have most of big and not-so-big albums released last year. AS I AM (ALICIA KEYS), CARNIVAL RIDE (CARRIE UNDERWOOD), BRAVE (JENNIFER LOPEZ), BLACKOUT (BRITNEY SPEARS), LONG ROAD OUT OF EDEN (EAGLES), JORDIN SPARKS (JORDIN SPARKS), COCO (COLBIE CAILLAT) etc... but i must confess i am now so in love with AS I AM. at first, i found this album boring. but it grew on me and love it sooo much. what about yours? ~dhena Quote
AllCeline Posted January 23, 2008 at 02:47 AM Posted January 23, 2008 at 02:47 AM (edited) Well, besides, "Taking Chances," of course... Relient K - Five Score & Seven Years Ago Mandy Moore - Wild Hope Vanessa Carlton - Heroes & Thieves Delta Goodrem - Detla Rebecca St. James - aLive in Florida Carrie Underwood - Carnival RideRelient K - Let it Snow, Baby... Let it Reindeer Honostly, I'm into the not-so-big artists. Music by artists who are overly popular tends to be shallow and GREATLY lacking integrity. No one seems to like the type of music I'm in to... I wonder why that is. shady pines ma Posted January 31, 2008 at 01:17 AM Posted January 31, 2008 at 01:17 AM The only ones I can think of that I can call favorites, sadly, are Kelly Clarkson's My December, TC, and the soundtrack to the musical remake of Hairspray. Music's not been great lately. Quote http://imageshack.us/m/17/3216/sigqk.jpgchanteuse : the celine dion fanlisting | bella donna | livejournal | tumblr | twitter
LuisMa Posted January 31, 2008 at 11:09 PM Posted January 31, 2008 at 11:09 PM My definite favorite from last year is "Change" by Sugababes. I also liked Jennifer Lopez's Brave, Carrie's "Carnival Ride" and Enrique Iglesias "Insomniaxc". Quote

shady pines ma Posted February 2, 2008 at 05:37 AM Posted February 2, 2008 at 05:37 AM I did, sadly, forget about Brave, which I thought was really good actually. LOVED Do It Well, the title track, and Mile In These Shoes. Blackout wasn't terrible either, but a lot of people seem to think it's her best CD EVER, and I disagree. There's several great tracks though, but the best one was relegated to bonus track status, sadly - Everybody. Ray Posted February 24, 2008 at 09:32 PM Posted February 24, 2008 at 09:32 PM 1. Spirit / Leona Lewis (she was HOT last year in the UK, and this year she's gonna conquer the rest of the world with "Bleeding love"!!!!! She did a brilliant version of "All by myself" when she was still in the X-Factor). 2. Call me irresponsible / Michael Bublé (his best album yet!) 3. Meer dan ooit / Edsilia Rombley (Dutch singer) 4. Taking Chances / Celine Dion 5. Songs of love and loss / Tina Arena (beautiful album filled with great covers!) 6. D'elles / Céline Dion 7. Dreamgirls (soundtrack) 8. Soulicious / Sarah Connor (also a great cd filled with covers!) 9. The confessions tour / Madonna (especially the dvd is brilliant!) 10. Greatest hits / Linda Eder (I am more looking forward to NEW material coming this year!) Quote Céline Dion Mariah Carey Madonna Lara Fabian Debbie Gibson Wilson Phillips Linda Eder Tina Arena Martika
