Your_Su_Phu Posted January 22, 2008 at 12:50 AM Posted January 22, 2008 at 12:50 AM (edited) I don't like her at all. more importantly I despise the woman's fans. the only reason I even know of her is her fans running around and spamming all over the place! they go around on youtube soiling almost every international diva's videos (celine, mariah, whitney, lara, etc.) with comments like "regine does it better" and advertising the woman that way. and I mean they literally spam these videos like that. it's one thing when mariah's or whitney's fans or even madonna's fans do it - regine's fans take it to another level, not to mention that regine is nothing on the international stage compared to those divas I also hate how they exaggerate (to the hundredth degree) her achievements and how successful she is. "songbird of asia", "asian superstar", yeah right! only in the phillipines she is.. some fans may be overzealous and exaggerate their idols' accomplishments, but again regine's fans take it to another level omg. I remember some of the stuff I read on her wiki biography, absolutely ridiculous and pulled out of someone's #ss lastly it seems like a large chunk of her (concert) career is based upon remaking/covering diva's songs :S whether it's celine, mariah, whitney, etc. Edited January 22, 2008 at 12:54 AM by Your_Su_Phu

Nonetheless, I think she could have better vocalized the high notes she sang when she finished the song. I really enjoy high notes, but I think she could place greater control in her vocalization. You also listen Regine sing "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" and "Shine". You're gonna love it. Promise. Those songs are one of the best from her.

Regine, no doubt can sing and can hit high notes without question, but lacks control, emotion and passion. And it's not always a plus that her notes sound effortless, I love the strength in Celine's notes and how it sounds like she pushes everything out of her gut to hit that note...and besides you can hear the passion in Celine's voice and see it in her face and gestures... Something that I have yet to see in Regine.
