A New Day Has Come(Album Version) vs. A New Day Has Come(Radio Remix)

Well, for me, when I first heard the radio remix(before I had heard the album version and bought the album), I loved it, and thought it was great. I thought it was basically the album version, but with a few words cut out or so, and I loved it. Then, I bought the album, and listened to the album version. I was basically wowed by it. I thought it was AMAZING. I couldn't even listen to the radio remix after that. The album version made the radio remix so.....mediocre. I don't know why the album version wasn't released as a single insted. It doesn't make sense.

 

Anyway, which version do you prefer?

It took me a while to appreciate the album version, but I really do love it. I think it was the perfect addition to the opening of A New Day...Usually it depends on my mood which version I prefer to listen to though. It's one of my all time favorite Celine songs, and both are great! (If I'm forced to pick, I'd pick the remix version)

I HATE the radio remix! It sounds like her voice is sped up... she sounds like a chipmunk! In fact, I'm pretty sure it is just the vocal from the album version (thus, REMIXed)

When the released, I did love the slower version, which is heart-wretching, indicates there was a long long journey before the a new day has come. Before the twilight, there must be much much effort.

Hmmmmmmm...I'd say the "Radio Remix," although I do like the ballad version. It truly does depend on my mood, though.

It depends what mood I am in. The radio remix is more upbeat and cheerful...the album version is very relaxing and chilled out.

I love the Radio Remix version. I think that the album version fits great for a show like A new day, but it's kinda boring to listen to at home or in your car. For those moments, I prefer the radio remix

Well I love both. The radio version is great when you want to dance and break loose, and for the album version, it is so elegant soft and has a nice slow melodic beat that brings calming sound to my soul.
