"A Cause": third single from D'Elles in France

Folks, just wait for the single. If there's not a single for "A cause", I'm sure the remix will either be available on French iTunes or on the next single from TC in France.

It would be silly for them not to release a single, because this is gonna be BIG.

jejeje...I totally agree with you...it's a shame that the "Ashanti brothers" didn't step up to the act with the EOM remix...as this Rien surprisingly did...let's wish for more mistakes from sony....I guess it would be safe to say that the same happened with the jason Nevins mix which was never published as "Official"

I was going to posrt the same thing again also. I can't understand why all of a sudden people are sooo secretive. Loads seem to have heard it, I'm not asking for an MP3 of it to be posted..(although I don't understand why we are not allowed to) I will be buying the single anyway, but I really wanna hear this remix. It's my fav song from the D'Elles CD.

 

We can't ask because it is an official release. However(!), there is only one promotional copy being sold on ebay at the moment, which has reached the astounding bid of 96 euro already and there are 2-3 days left till the end of the auction, so i just dont wanna know what star-price its gonna reach... However, if there is only going to be a promo impossible-to-buy cd and nobody even likes to elaborate on the question of the release, i don't see what's with the 'dont even privately ask for the remix' policy. Sorry dear admins and mods, I don't mean it in a bad way and Im not asking (!Im just commenting!), but in this case I really don't see what the big trouble is...

Thing is though loads of people seem to have heard it, and no one is saying where. I do get why these things are not posted and I am abiding by forum rules. I've not asked for it to be posted, I've not PM'd anyone and I wouldn't post this remix if I had it.

Nous vous l’annoncions il y a déjà plusieurs semaines, A cause est le troisième single issu de D’elles, le dernier album francophone de Céline Dion.

Pour assurer sa médiatisation, une version remixée est proposée aux radios et la chanteuse sera présente sur le plateau de la Star Academy le 25 janvier 2008 afin d’en donner une prestation scénique.

 

A noter que cette chanson a une histoire particulière. Le texte, signé Françoise Dorin (qui avait déjà écrit le premier single Et s’il n’en restait qu’une), a tellement inspiré les compositeurs de l’album de Céline Dion, qu’il a été mis en musique à deux reprises !

On retrouve ainsi sur D’elles, les titres A cause et On s’est aimé à cause. La mélodie du premier a été écrite par Jacques Vénéruso. Il s’agit d’un titre assez rythmé, qui est finalement choisi comme troisième single de l’album. En revanche, On s’est aimé à cause a été composé par Marc Dupré et Jean-François Breau et constitue une des plus belles ballades du disque.

 

Enfin, sachez que le second extrait de l’opus anglophone Taking Chances devrait être Alone, pendant que le public japonais aura droit à une version bilingue du très beau A World To Believe In, et les Américains au titre Eyes On Me.

I am impressed with Sony. I really think it's brilliant to include "Alone" in the same single CD with "A cause", specially with the world tour coming.

" A cause " is one of my favourites of the album, but it's hard to decide between this one and the soft version. The remix is amazing (finally a good remix) ad the cover of the CD fits perfectly, even though it's from TC.

 

Does anyone know who's the photographer from "D'elles" and "taking Chances"? I bet it's different from her prevoious albums, coz the photos have improved a lot...they are AWESOME!!!!!
