Song Lists for A New Day...

Hi

I know it's a bit crazy, but I was wondering if anybody had all or some of the song lists for A New Day... since it started in 2003?

I used to check the celindion.com website regularly to look for changes to the songs and running order. I always meant to get copies but didn't.

I don't think there were many changes (probably 4 or 5) and only a few songs were added or taken away over the years but if anybody has copies of the songlists it would be great if they could share them

on similar lines id love to see footage of celine singing ''taking chances'' that she added to a new day.... (teamceline, go on give us the 1st exclusive of the year, new years resolutions and all that...)

The Wikipedia page has the song list, although it doesn't have them in the right order depending on the year since this changed a bit. It doesn't mention "Aria Lucia Di Lammermoor" either which was the instrumental performed after TFTEISYF to allow Celine time to come down from the ceiling, or the other instrumental "A New Love" composed by Mego. But perhaps it will help!

I was just wondering if In Some Small Way was ever part of the set list?

It isn't included on the wikipedia site but I know Celine performed it a few times (New Year's Eve 2004 and the Tsunami Benefit Show in 2005).

I also seem to remember seeing it on the list on the website... or maybe I'm making that up...

Any help...?

Yeah, she did sing it. It's included on the "performed occasionally" list on Wikipedia.

I am going to post the latest song list, which was updated November 29, 2007. And if I'm not mistaken, in addition to the last show, The Christmas Song was also performed during the last week of "A New Day..."

I had no idea the set changed so much though... I honestly thought it changed once a year at most.

Anyway, I'll have to try to dig out that copy of the first set list... I thought Nature Boy was the opening song for a lot longer than was actually the case. and do you know what the song 'A New Love' is? I've never heard it...

Again, thanks for the information. I had a feeling it might be an instrumental because the only details it gives is that it was composed by Claude Lemay.

I feel so ignorant. You think you know everything there is to know about Celine and then you come on this forum and there is so much you just don't know... different perfoamances, different songs etc. I'm glad I found it.

Anyway, I'll definitely post the original song list if I find it. Unfortunately I'm in France at the moment and I might not be back in the UK for a couple of months, but I promise that I will get it you as soon as I find it! It's a priority on my 'To Do' list!

Hello Tony! You're welcome!

Well, I don't know when Celine specifically sang The Christmas Song. We know for a fact that Celine sang that song on the show's finale on December 15. I also heard that she performed the song on Friday, December 14.

Celine's last show dates were: Nov. 29, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 2, Dec. 5, Dec. 6, Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 9, Dec. 12, Dec. 13, Dec. 14, and Dec. 15.

It is possible that Celine may have performed the song on the last week of the show (December 12 - December 15). It is also possible that she may have performed it the entire month of December 2007.

Additionally, the show did have very minor changes that were not part of any posted song lists. These songs are as follows:

God Bless America (performed July 4, 2004)

In Some Small Way (performed December 2004 - January 2005)

Happy Xmas (War is Over) [performed December 2005]

Can't Help Falling in Love (performed August 16 & August 17, 2007)

just before the final 13 shows started i checked wikipedia & they posted all the songs that were in the show. they put symbols next to those that were taken out so its easier to make up the lists. i'm not sure of what i searched exactly... try either 'celine dion' or 'a new day'.

I don't know if she did it earlier, but she sang the Xmas Song Dec 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th. On Dec 12th she sang it where "If I Could" usually is and in the last 3 shows she sang it after "MHWGO". It was pretty cool, she had a "Santa" riding his bike across the stage.

I know this is a long shot, but can anyone tell me what dresses she wore throughout the show?

For example, in Nov. 2006-2007, she wore:

ANDHC-IDAN: White outfit

SM-IS: Black dress

AA-LCMM: Black/red outfit

RDMH: Silver/Gold dress

MHWGO: long grey dress

So I was wondering if anyone could tell me what she wore when the set lists were different, from 2003-2006?
