angeluk2 Posted July 18, 2008 at 05:20 PM Posted July 18, 2008 at 05:20 PM I do like this kind of music, arabic music and singing can be very beautiful and i agree very hard to understand or learn if it is not your first language.I also think the style is very different to Celine's as you could say that some Opera singers can sing higher and with a better tone. But at the end of the day its down to every individual and what pleases each of us.Thankyou for sharing though Quote CHOCOLATE is the answer....I don't give a damn what the question was!

I couldn't disagree more with you.If so, I couldn't be able to appreciate Celine's talent, or for that matter, most of the international singers...just those who sing in SpanishI learnt English some years ago, but before that I couldn't understand a single word, and still loved Celine and felt touched by many of her songs. Those songs trascended the language barrier.I honestly believe that language has nothing to do. If you didn't feel anything listening to this lady, it's just because it's not for you, didn't reach your soul, not beacuse of the language.I happen to love many songs from Celine in French, from Josh Groban in Italian, just like Andrea Bocelli or Eros Ramazzotti....anyway, that's just my humble opinion, which can be applied to movies to. 95% of the movies I watch are not spoken in Spanish...and still, okay, I'm too long now Edited July 18, 2008 at 05:48 PM by grobandion Quote
