celinecolombian Posted January 4, 2008 at 07:10 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 07:10 PM Well, I think I'm in love with every Celine album I have; but 1 Fille & 4 types and A new day has come are such amazing ones that were really unappreciated... Quote
LVCeline Posted January 4, 2008 at 07:12 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 07:12 PM Yeah, I'd have to agree that 1F4T is underappreciated. The album is fantastic and very cohesive if you ask me! As for English, then her self titled probably doesn't get the attention it deserves. Again, some amazing ballads on that album yet we don't talk about it very much. Quote

smw Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:20 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:20 PM D'ells and the Celine Dion album. D'elles deserved to be pushed A LOT more. And I hope she's not done with it. I think once she tours in French speaking areas, then the album will climb again - and I hope she releases another single from it! PLEASE CELINE! And the Celine Dion album is phenomenal - but it was just before she hit it big in the U.S. Quote
Black Kitten Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:32 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:32 AM her most underappreciated album is i think her debut UNISON and CELINE DION. i feel bad that it never got its shot. it contains some of her best songs in her carreer. i personally think these 2 albums are way better than LETS TALK ABOUT LOVE which sold truckloads of cds around the globe. and 1 file & 4 types. i think that album is better than d'elles. Quote
RLAAMJR. Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:42 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:42 AM I don't have her french albums. For the most unappreciated english album of Celine, that would be "One Heart" Quote
martin Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:42 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:42 AM It always depends where, in Canada id say : s'il suffisait d'aimer and in Europe, maybe D'Elles. But we are talking here about sales IF the numbers means appreciation... Quote

Esty Posted January 5, 2008 at 08:33 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 08:33 AM D'elles and her self titled album. They're both masterpieces, but nobody seemed/seems to care. (except the fans of course) Quote
sangstar Posted January 5, 2008 at 03:51 PM Posted January 5, 2008 at 03:51 PM english, i'd say One HeartFrench I'd say D'Elles and Des Mots Qui Sonnent- I only found out about DMQS when i saw the CD in Tower Records in Central London, my very kind dad brought it for us after loads of begging! Quote Thank u Jesus. Im in ur hands now.
Jan Posted January 5, 2008 at 07:25 PM Posted January 5, 2008 at 07:25 PM (edited) I believe all her French language albums are unappreciated (if it means that it doesn't get too much attention, but it's still excellent) which is quite a shame! I'm not a particularly good speaker of French, so I have to use a dictionary if I want to understand the lyrics, and I'm always amazed how much better her French language songs are! Really, I have the impression that the English stuff is for building her career, while the French stuff is for pleasure. I bet she enjoys it much more, just like I enjoy listening itt much better.
