Black Kitten Posted January 4, 2008 at 01:39 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 01:39 PM celine has such wonderful voice that really made me a fan way back. i adore how she belts her high notes as if she's only yawning. however, there are still some songs that celine recorded that makes me feel unwell . songs that i think celine should not think of recording. for example, i really hate her songs like have a heart (unison), did u give enough love, little bit of love (celine dion), everybody's talking my baby down, real emotion (the colour of my love), i hate u then i love u, amar haciendo el amor (lets talk about love), ave maria, blue xmas (these are special times), all the way, the 1st time ever i saw your face (all the way...), at last, super love (a new day), coulda woulda shoulda, love is all we need (one heart) and eyes on me, new dawn (taking chances). these are the songs i think celine should not record as it bored me big time! what are yours guys? I loved just about all the ones mentioned in the first post and I honestly dont think you could have lived without Let Your Heart Decide... at the time it came out, we were thirsty for anything new from Celine in English. My least favorites are: - Right Next To The Right One - makes me feel like I should grow my hair out and take up pot again. - Skies of LA - What the HELL is this damn song supposed to do for people? - I Hate You... - Celine does an amazing job, but Luciano's Opera background does NOTHING for the song as a whole. - Blue Christmas - What? Sorry, I fell asleep just typing the words of the song... PS - Have A Heart is one of my all time favourite Celine songs ever and I cant believe you (dhena) hate New Dawn! You crazy! You crazy! well, every fan have different tastes in music. believe me or not, i love skies of l.a. and right next to the right one. but new dawn never grew on me. and pls can somebody give celine a NEW MATERIAL! im sick and tired of the continous A NEW DAY, A NEW DAY, A NEW DAY. we're done on the album title 'a new day has come', song title 'a new day has come', a show title 'a new day- live in las vegas', a cd and dvd of the same title, and then we have now new dawn with the same A NEW DAY? for god's sake celine give us something new! nothing against u, im just tired of celine saying A NEW DAY as if its the only words available for her to sing about. It's not a bad song, but I find that I skip it a lot. "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" is very beautiful, but a little on the side. That's awful! lol I LOVE that song, and I LOVE "Have a heart" (although "Partout je te vois" blows it out of the water!) I don't really "hate" any of Celine's songs. "Tire l'aiguille" is one that I find weird, but I don't hate it. Also the "contes" on "Celine chants et contes de Noel" put me to sleep.
