If you were the director of her music videos,what would be the songs you want to direct and what would be your ideas for that clips.

I always think of this when i listen to her songs ,it is like a fun game for me to play with it.to imagine celine in my musicvideos. is nice such a nice thing.

i have ideas for eyes on me and world to believe in

my idea for eyes on me is something like:celine wants to sing in somewhere she is in her dressing room her boyfriend comes but he is busy with answering phone so celine disapear and go on stage,the boy follows her but when celine is sining the boy start talking with girls but in a moment his attention goes to celine and look at her with a great infatuation,and he start walking toward her and forget all girls.

and my idea for the world to beileve is celine is in studio but she is not feeling good and she gave upp sining and going home in the car she is looking around and crying gently.it is her birthday but she forgot that because she is sad.when she enters home she saw rose petal in foor direccting her to a room.in thatt room rene and rc is waiting for her so when she enters the room they star clapping and they have a great time together in celine birthday.the day after that she goes to studio and she sings her song with a great passion

Hmm I'm sure there's a topic like this... I think I wrote my concept for Et Je T'Aime Encore in it.... it includes a real house, with 4L, tulips, Elise, a dancing scene in the disco...and a lover far away...and Céline running through the woods... to an open place... where it poors of rains... when she shouts Et je t'aime encore ... Comme dans les chansons banales Et ça me dévore Et tout le reste m'est égal

 

and it ends with the wind blowing a curtain into a room, where a beautiful guy awakens from that wind....

if i am going to pick a song and direct a music video for it, it would be HALFWAY TO HEAVEN. i don't know but i really love this song and it is actually the reason why i play my 'celine dion' album. the video would feature Kenny G. since he played the sax in the song. a simple video may work. celine & kenny in the studio recording it in black and white.

I Drove All Night...

 

Celine's been out to a club, had a s*** night- got felt up by a sleazy guy and bashed about by the crowd (the city was sticky & cruel) got fed up and left- she misses her man (I was dying to get to you) It's late, say 2am. She's driving her Crossfire- red...(she has been on non-alcoholic vodka jellies) It's raining heavily. She's got wet running to the car from the club so her mascara is smudged and her hair is wet. She's wearing a little dress...she's tanned and got killer heels on, showing her legs running in the rain a la Carrie Bradshaw. There are shots of her 'Celine Dancing' (a la punching air and saluting and winking) in the outfit like EOM from UK Audience with after he pulls the skirt off...those tight trousers and amazing buggery heels again...she's driving out into the suburbs but it's a stormy night (I think about you when the night is cold & dark) (ahaw, yeah) She then runs up steps to the house, gets wet all over again cos she can't find her key. She takes her Louboutins off and carries them up the stairs, setting the Chrysler (product placement) keys on the sideboard along with her Chanel clutch and rubs her naturally muscular & tanned man's six pack and kisses his neck to waken him (crept in your room & woke you from your sleep to make lurrrve to you) . He looks at her and pushes the wet hair back from her face, then they kiss and we get the last I DROVE ALL NIGHTs.........and the camera goes out the window to the tree getting battered by the storm and rain to reflect Celine's strength and energy and ensuing sex session. Cos the song is ultimately about sex.

I would love to direct an Eyes on Me music video. The entire thing would be shot in black and white. Here's my concept:

 

Celine and her man walk into an elegent party. There are a lot of people chatting and talking. She is wearing a very big, fancy, and elegent(think of the scenes in the Immortality video, and that's what she looks like). A few times before Celine starts singing, there are cuts to Celine in a dark room, sitting in a chair and wearing a long black dress. When Celine starts singing in the dark room in the first verse, there are shots of Celine's man smiling at Celine, then seeing another woman and checking her out. Then, Celine steps in front of him, and grabs his face, looking straight into his eyes, and singing the "you better keep your eyes on me" part.

 

Then, the scene quickly cuts and goes to a dining room setting. It's a long table with a ton of food on it, and Celine's man is at one far end of the table, and Celine is at the other far end. She's wearing a nice white shirt and jeans. As the camera makes a quick shot to her face, it goes back to the whole table and there are a bunch of beautiful women sitting all around the table now. During all of this, there are a few cuts to the Celine in the dark room singing. Celine then looks at her man, and climbs on the table, crawling over things, then grabbing his face again and singing the "you better keep your eyes on me" part. Then, the camera zooms in on Celine's eyes, she blinks, and the scene swirls into Celine's eyes. Then, the scene goes to the dark room, and Celine stands up, kicks the chair aside, and rips off her dress, revealing a sleeveless black shirt, and a black mini-skirt with black leggings. During the "no matter what you think I need, no it doesn't really matter what you once believed" and "so you better say yeah" part, she is doing a very Shakira flavored hip dance.

 

Then when the song slows down to the"And say....that you want me" part and the faster "say that you need me/Better let him know" part, the scene cuts to Celine walking out of a room, and the man running after her, then turning around and yelling. After that, Celine starts to walk backwards, and she ends up back in the dark room, singing the "Tell him how you feel/Let him know it's real/And if you love me/Never turn your back/Gonna keep my eyes on that." Then, for the rest of the video until the final lines, there are different shots of Celine singing in the dark room and doing a choreographed dance, Celine singing to her man in the middle of the party room with everybody watching, and Celine singing to her man as she stands on the table. Then, when the song slows down and ends, and there's the final "you better keep your eyes on me.....your eyes on me.....your eyes on me.....", there's a cut of Celine sitting back down on the chair in the dark room, singing the lines. The video ends with Celine walking out of the party, holding onto her man's arm, smiling as if nothing had happened.

Rene (dad) should be her agressor, (with the guys of sony) (Just kidin about the guys of sony) then, celine will sing in one hospital bed, and, then, she will be recovered and will kill her agressor. Like some kind of Femme fatale. And in the beging, celine should cry and de agressor, doing her job, in front of her kids. This is the perfect music video for this time.

The video starts in a darkened bedroom, no music yet, just a small, old fashioned type bedside clock [ticking away] and a framed photo of her and her man, and with the twinkle of the city lights just beyond the windows. Celine is in bed, laying on her side, singing the opening... then she rolls over and kinda passionately grabs the sheets and rolls on her back during "I wonder where you are tonight..." like she's holding him, but it's only the sheets

 

Then she sits up when she starts "Till now, I always got by..." The scene cuts to her all made up, wearing cute little jeans and top... she's deciding what shoes to wear...

 

During the drum roll into "You don't know how long I have wanted...", we see her driving, down shifting the car during the drum rolls, out on the freeway on a balmy summer's night in a big city... she ends up at a lounge type place with live music playing, where she runs into HIM, but he doesn't see her.

 

Then we cut to the stage, it's empty except the mic stand, and the angle is really low, like the camera man is at the edge of the stage, kinda looking up, and Celine is walking up to the mic, with power and determination.... guitar... " aaaaaaaaaaaalllloooone.... Till now, I always got by on my own.... " She's belting it out on stage. The man, standing in the back of the lounge, notices it's her and can't stop gazing at her.

 

Now at this point, I can't decide on a couple different endings. LOL The one Im leading towards would be Celine sings on the stage for the rest of the vid, but the man walks closer and closer, gently pushing people out of the way to get to the edge of the stage. The camera is kinda behind and to the side of Celine and we can see her singing and see him walking close. During the music break, theirs eyes meet, and Celine kinda smiles/smirks... "how do I get you alone..." and the guy knows Celine is singing about him... Then the scene cuts to her walking off the stage, near the front and him holding her hand as she walks down the steps from the stage and them walking out of the lounge during the last big "allllooooone".

She finishes singing, with him looking up at her, but as the end progresses, another woman walks up to him and holds his arm as Celine is singing. The other girl looks up at the stage and realizes its her and basically tries to control the man and makes them leave the lounge as Celine finishes with the final notes...

Well............. that is one hell of a video, I totally imagined that! Lol I'm not even going to try and compete with that. But I think I would do my new favourite song "The Reason I Go On".

Staring into a picture frame at the start, then in conversation with others but Celine is daydreaming of the good times with her man. Looking outside of a Parisian high-rise to the night sky "Can you hear me calling?" I imagine the video almost as if she's on a wild chase looking for her man, and the bridge would be her running through a forest at night time in stunning couture gown (I don't know why but it sounds fun). That's all I got. It's fun to dream.

I have a idea for alone too something like this:

Celine is in her apartment lying in her bed ,and she wears a sophisticated night gown, the room is dark then she grabs the phone the camera goes to her mans house which is empty and the phone is ringing during (no answer on the telephone).then the camera goes to dining room showing the table prepared with food and candles, during “till now I always got by all my own” it shows Celine dreams about they first meeting it is like Celine is business woman negotiating in a table with the man there are other people there too but Celine and the boy attentions are toward each other, then it shows going out together and Celine dreaming of kissing the man by pushing him back to wall, during touch your lips “Celine touches herself lips and having poses like dreaming the boy in her hands similar the end of contre nature ,and during the secret is still my own there are the shots of past showing Celine secretly watching them man while he is doing something else, and then it shows again Celine in the room standing ,walking and having poses like she is dreaming of the boy in her hands ,and something like she wants to make love to him, during the music she enters the dining room and in the last alones she is shouting while she hears knocking on door she rushes to the door and open she sees the boy, and throw herself to his hands and hug him so tight and they kiss.

OMG !!! I'm always daydreaming about ideas for music videos

 

I'd definitely do "Eyes On me" , and I'd film the whole video in Morocco (North Africa ) , I'd shoot her walking in the exotic streets of the old Medina of Marrakesh in a sunny afternoon , and then she'd be in her room dressed in black , moving her hips and flipping her hair and looking fierce , with alternate shots of a group choregraphy led by Celine up-front on a hardwood platform and just dark all around in the parts where we hear the back-up vocals ( delta goodrem+manly voices ) ...
