My On S'est Aimé À Cause

Hi you all I hope you are spending some wonderful holidays with all the people you love. Earlier this year, on May 5th, the inspiration bug bit me and I wrote a song based on Celine's "On S'Est Aimé À Cause". I have been writing songs for over ten years now, but have never shared them. They have been my own prized possessions. Four months ago I went to Las Vegas to see Celine, and I wrote the lyrics I had written on a small piece of paper and had the intention to leave it on the seat with hopes it would be found and given to Celine, but then I realized that it would be a foolish idea. So I came back to Costa Rica with my tiny envelope. About two months ago I was surfing the web and found out about this page for the Paramount Group in Nashville, who are on the look for new songs and potential hits. I submitted my song, called "The Cause," and a few weeks back I received a songwriting contract, specifying that if I wanted they would add music to the lyrics and create a professional demo, and then shop it to record labels, artists or music publishers (of course I would pay for the demo). I fell ill two days later, and now that I'm back, I have decided NOT to give my song to that publisher. First, because it's based on Celine's song and I think it sounds perfect with that music, and second because I think it's my time to share it with you. Who knows if Celine will ever get to see it, but a guy can keep on dreaming . Wow the nicest thing about inspiration is that it can come at any moment. I had wanted to change the third and fourth line of the last verse, which read "I'll thank for letting me keep you by my side" but did not find the right words that fit the song perfectly, and I just did. "I'll thank for letting you always stay by my side" fit better with the song.

Wow! I'm sure you're inspired to Celine when you wrote " The Cause" I used to write lyrics too and It's all dedicated to Celine. If I'm in your situation too, I would also not to give my work.
