please disregard my sister laughing at Celine at the begining when Celine was having an emotional moment

 

i had to drag her to this concert so she could really get a sense of what Celine is like live and she just laughed throughout the whole concert, she doesn't appreciate great talent when its staring at her in the face

my friend and i had the best time singing and laughing even if everyone else around us was a drag!

i do admit that there were some loud and cheering fans that went crazy but they were scatered everywhere.

i felt that this show had a great deal of meaning to me and to Celine, firstly because i'm from around the Ft. Laud. area and Celine has made Florida her home for many years and it seems as if its like a second home to her. i loved and should have recorded the part when she said that she was the first start in the Bank Atlantic 10 years ago and its like coming back home to her, she also remembered going down the Sunrise area its so funny to me because i go down those streets all the time

i felt a sense of gratification and peace during her time there and will forever remember those moments

no, unfortunately not. that's when my camera so happen to give up

but she did look like she was in a hurry, sorta like a mad woman on a mission, but still touched hands looked at faces and excepted gifts

Yeah, I finally was able to give her a hug, a kiss, and tell her 'I Love You.' It was so magical and I wanted to see if anyone caught that on youtube. lol it's still in my heart!

HI everyone.

I just recently discovered this forum. I was at the Ft. Lauderdale show too. It was my 4th

show. I saw her at Phili, DC and Kansas City. As far as Celine, this was by far the best

show I saw. She was so animated and silly. But, I have to say, the crowd was the worst.

No one even stood when she went up the catwalks. Our seats were section 7 row 4 seats

5 and 6. Very few people around us ever stood, other than when she can in and when

she has everyone stand for Love Can Move Mountains. We screamed and cheered and

stood many times. An older man next to me and the people on the other side of my friend

kept glaring at us. I just don't get it. How can you NOT have fun? But Celine didn't seem to

notice and she was absolutely into it.

I took tons and tons of pictures, but I have no idea how to post them. If anyone can tell me

how, I will put some up.

Oh, and as to the "BUMP" I do have to say that Celine does seem to look pregnant. She absolutely

looks bigger now than she did when I saw her in September and even Early January in Kansas City.

It sounds like everyone had a GREAT time at the show!!! Thomas, your pics are AMAZING!!! Thanks for posting them. Very cool that people got to see Maman Dion and Rene there as well! This must have been a really special show with Celine being near her home!! So sorry to hear about the person whose gift fell and broke but it sounds like that circumstance may have given you a few more minutes with Celine than expected!!!!!!! Soooo sweet of her to react the way she did!!!! She won't soon forget you!!! Enjoyed the reviews!! The helicopter story was neat if Celine left the venue that way!!!!!!! Can't believe that this tour is winding down soooo soon!!! Congrats to all of those who got hugs during the show and on Celine's exit!!! How exciting for you all!!!! Those are such treasured moments!!

I was in your section and only stood a couple of times but I had fun. You have to think about the kind of people who were at the Ft. Lauderdale show. You have the people from Palm Beach County and Martin County driving down to the show... affluent areas. Lots probably just aren't the kind of people to get wild like that in public. Plus, the median age of the crowd looked to be about 80... most probably couldn't stand...

OMG Alone is amazing- and Fade Away- thanks for the clips. I wish she sang these songs like this at the start of the tour- I suppose she just having more fun and relaxed now. I love all the ad libs etc. I like the ..."till now..." bit now in Alone...can't wait for the frigging DVD!!!!!!!

I agree the crowd sucked Welcome to South FL, I've lived here almost my whole life!! Now I wish I had another show to go to. I was in the TC section and it sucked!!

 

PQTME was awesome for me though, at my previous US shows everyone took it as an opportunity to talk to their neighbor and go to the bathroom. Surprising, but maybe because they were dead and bored?? Soooo many people with meet and greet passes. Mostly older people.

 

During MHWGO, I ran over to Erin's side since she had come in that way and we were going to try to catch her together - but then she ended up exiting on my side when I had an aisle seat!!! This is why I don't take chances, they backfire on me My streak of Unluckiest Celine Fan Ever continues! But Erin did catch her on the way in and lots of people caught her on the way out.

Was Montreal ever included in the intro video? I thought the only North American cities in the video were Boston, Quebec, and New York. Now it's Quebec, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.

Ok I think I have figured out how to post pictures so lets give it a

try. These first ones are of Celine's family in their seats. The first

one is them seated. Then her mom greeting her brother, and his

sitting and visiting with them.The last picture is when Celine

introduced her mom. These aren't the best pictures because they

were pretty far away.
