im so disgusted on media traffic on how they count albums' sales!

i just wanna share this to u guys.. im wondering how media traffic/UWC count the sales of the biggest selling albums of all time. i just noticed that, howcome alanis morissette's jagged little pill is sitting pretty at #10???!!! there's no doubt that shania twain's come on over is one of them, at #9. it sold 20M in US alone and less than 40M worldwide. but howcome alanis' album is at #10??? where's falling into you??? or let's talk about love??? we are talking about WORLDWIDE SALES, not on US ALONE!!! jagged little pill sold 14+M copies is the us and 30M worldwide. but FALLING INTO YOU sold 12M in the US and 32M W-O-R-L-D-W-I-D-E!!!!! also let's talk about love sold 31M worldwide, even bigger than alanis' 30M!!! are we talking about US sales here? i guess no. its media traffic, UNITED WORLD CHART. can somebody here can explain to me how media traffic is counting these albums' sales???

Media traffic counts sales in ten countries:

 

USA, Canada, Uk, Japan, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium

 

and after they count a 7,5% more

 

I think is working like that

i dont trust these numbers

we cant tell exact how much cds,k7, albums sold because the technology is recent...

the barcode used to count the number of sells became popular only in 1980.

 

so the other numbers of HISTORY....

we cant trust....

 

they know the numbers from the factory...

like how much albums wore produced.

 

now i only trust soundscan in the us.

 

but worldwide its difficult to know.

Although some artist sold more than Celine does in the past, but they can never beat her record these days. And try to be the phenomenal SINGER and the most famous one.... did some other singer still to be on the top these days? Well no one except for our Celine. sweetheart jagged little pill only sold 30M copies worldwide. i know wikipedia is not a reliable source but almost all source says that JLP sold 30M worldwide. only in US that JLP outsold celine, but worldwide, alanis will never outsell celine's. it's very clear that FIY sold 32M and LTAL 31M, and the album that sold just 30M is sitting at #10? and nowhere u can find FIY and LTAL in the list???

 

i love alanis' JLP, it's fantastic! but she's not deserving to be at #10.
