I still have all their CDs somewhere around here. I was CRAZY about them when I was something like 15, 16 LOL :in_love: :innocent:

I hope they come back with good music, different from the one they used to do, something new and with quality. And I hope they are successful.

I'm was an NSYNC person :D LOL

I heard a part of the song on TV, it sounds really boring. The music scene has changed quite a bit since they left, I don't think they'll be very successful.

The new single is called "Invincible", and I think it's fine. Nothing special, but nice to listen to. :msn-wink:

Backstreet's 'Never Gone' Due In June

As U.S. pop radio stations begin to embrace the Backstreet Boys single "Incomplete," Jive Records has set June 14 as the release date for the vocal group's fourth studio album, "Never Gone."

The new album features the writing and production talents of Five For Fighting's John Ondrasik, Savage Garden's Darren Hayes, Max Martin (Kelly Clarkson), Billy Mann (Pink, Sting), Dan Muckala (Jump5, the Afters) and John Fields (Switchfoot), as well as John Shanks, who in February won the Grammy award for producer of the year for his work on releases by Sheryl Crow, Clarkson, Hilary Duff and Ashlee Simpson.

The album's title track was co-written by Backstreet member Kevin Richardson as a tribute to his father. The cut was produced by Mark Taylor, whose resume includes work with Britney Spears, Cher, and Celine Dion. He also contributed to "Now or Never," 2002 the Jive solo album released by Backstreet's Nick Carter.

"Incomplete" is off to a strong start in its first week at U.S. radio outlets. The track debuts this week at No. 55 on Billboard's Hot 100, and jumps 90-27 on the Pop 100 thanks to the infusion of digital sales. On Billboard's Hot Digital Songs list, it opens at No. 30.

A video for "Incomplete" was recently shot with director Joseph Kahn, who was behind the lens for U2's "Elevation" and Britney Spears' "Toxic" clips. Fans will get a first peek at it April 25 online via AOL Music's "First View" program.

The Backstreet Boys are nearing the end of a club and theater tour that plays Atlanta tomorrow (April 14) and will wrap April 18 in Norfolk, Va. Details of a summer tour due to launch in mid-July and play larger venues have not yet been released.

Prior to that run, expect to see the group on television quite a bit, with performances lined up on NBC's "Today" (June 10), the syndicated "Live With Regis & Kelly (June 14), NBC's "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (June 16) and "The CBS Early Show" (June 17).

I liked many of their old songs. Despite what the article says, I wonder if they can sustain a strong comeback.

I see they will be on CBS The Early Show on June 17-my birthday :D

I'm not a Backstreet Boys fan but I kinda like their new song (Incomplete). I started liking it when American Idol's Anthony Fedorov sang it live on the show. Then I listened to the group's version and I liked it. They're doing pretty well on charts. Good for them. As long as they bring good ideas to the table, I hope they keep going together.

Outsch! :shocking:

The Backstreet Boys "ran over" the foot of a 19 years old girl. This accident happend when they arrived at the airport of Duesseldorf/Germany. There were a lot of people and the BB wanted to flee, so the car of them ran over the girl's foot.

Yes, I think so. *lol* ;) Here's an image with Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and the girl. The BB were so sorry and they excuse themselves.

The album is actually pretty good :blushing: I like very much "Climbing the walls" and "Incomplete" :D :blushing:

The sound is little more "adult" pop/rock than before (when all the teenage hysteria was going on)

Backstreet Boys Say Goodbye To Richardson

The Backstreet Boys are saying goodbye to the oldest member of their band, according to a statement posted on the group's website Saturday. Kevin Richardson, 33, said he was leaving to purse other interests.

"It was a very tough decision for me but one that was necessary in order to move on with the next chapter of my life," Richardson said in the statement.

The Orlando-based pop band ushered in a new teen-music craze in the late 90's, buoyed by their soulful harmonies, synchronized dance steps, clean-cut good looks and charm. Their three albums sold a total of more than 35 million copies.

The group took a hiatus in 2001 after A.J. McLean's highly publicized entry into rehab forced the band to postpone their "Black & Blue" tour. They reunited to release the album Never Gone in 2005.

The remaining members, McLean, Nick Carter , Howie Dorough, and Brian Littrell, said they had no plans to replace Richardson.

"The door will always be open for him to return to the Backstreet Boys. We wish him the all the best in his future endeavors," they said on the band's website.

The group plans to return to the studio this weekend to begin work on their next album, which is due later this year.

Calls and an e-mail sent to the group's publicist, Sonia Muckle, were not immediately returned to The Associated Press on Saturday.

On a personal note, Kevin was always my favorite Backstreet Boys. To me he was the only one that has a great voice, not to mention he's written/co-written some of the songs the group recorded. I hope he releases a solo album so I can hear what he'll sound like without the other guys. Good luck to you Kevin! B)

Yep! I heard this on the news this morning.

And it's quite reasonable.

And Brian's my favorite Backstreet Boy :) Love his voice, his outlook on life, and his faith :)
