The Collector's Series Volume 2

I was wondering last night, about Celine after the Vegas thing... I heard that she's planning to have another break and to have a baby...

 

So I think the best time to release another Collector's Series is by this time. So can I have your ideas about the tracks to be release and as well as the look to the collector's item itself, that includes number of discs and what should be included in the booklet and the packaging of the collector's item.

 

On my part, about the collector's item: for me 1 disc is enough, it should look well edited and prepared because it is a collector's item. It should include a lot of old and new pictures of celine and as well as lyrics. Talking about the whole essence of being a collector's item: Here's a list of tracks that should be included on the cd... Tracks will be taken from Incognito down to One Heart... Here goes:

 

1. D'abord C'est Quoi L'amour (For me it is a nice song from incognito and Celine's voice is in shape)

 

2. The Last To Know

 

3. Piaf Chanterait Du Rock (it should be included becacuse it is rare and it was only released in Europe and Canada, I think)

 

4. L'amour Exixte Encore

 

5. Love Can Move Mountains

 

6. Water From The Moon

 

7. Think Twice

 

8. Cherche Encore

 

9. Your Light (also rare because it was released on different versions of Falling Into You)

 

10. Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)

 

11. On Ne Change Pas

 

12. Then You Look At Me

 

13. The Greatest Reward

 

14. All Because of You (also rare it was included on a Special Edition of A New Day Has Come)

 

15. Rien Ne Vraiment Fini

 

16. I Know What Love Is

 

So what do you think about this guys?

A second Collector' series album would be great....although it would be fantastic if it would include a dvd with music videos of those same songs.....and of course in HQ

anyway...i am curious hat songs they will include.

i was a little bit surprised they didn't include my heart will go on on the first volume...

Here there and Everywhere and Is nothing sacred... great songs so rare almost unknown

i have also thought of volume one as secondary hits album. that why where does my heart beat now, that's the way it is, all by myslf was a great spanish hit, the jap. version on be the man was a huge hit, porque t'aime encore and ziggy are some of the alltime greatest loved of her french songs. and even though the prayer and tell him were not singles they were important parts of her career.

 

so the 2nd volume would have to follow that. some of your choices were great! but i would resive a bit more taking in consideration importance so i would replace love can move mountains sense it was on the greatest hits.

 

im suprised voume 2 wasn't released in 2001, but after all vol 1 only went to #28, i think, which i guess is less then they expected. they should have had more rare songs on it. which you considered!

 

but yeah good choices!

Yeah... Nothing Sacred and Here, There, and Everywhere is a rare song... Yeah I would be nice if ythey're going to released it... But I think it won't be needed because Nothing Sacred was unreleased tracks from..I think Let's Talk About Love? Here, There, and Everywhere was just a tribute to John Lennon...I think! So, It will add another expense to buy the right of the song both the lyrics and the music itself. But they are great songs...

 

I think... I it is not needed to include unreleased tracks because it did not add anything to Celine's career... But I was thinking on mind that maybe in the future Celine will released a special album not a commercial one, another collector's item it think... and this will include unreleased track which they think it would be great to be released. Just like what Bon Jovi did...they released unreleased songs both the new and the old so that the fans will have something to expect... it would be best if they going to released this during celine's second break...what do you think guys? for me it would be nice.

 

I also agree that Love Can Move Mountains will not be included, yeah because it was on the greatest hits...my mistake... what if If You Asked Me Too will be include instead of it? Somehow it add something to Celine's Career during the 90's

I would also like to add Nano's idea that it will feature a DVD of Music Videos... I am also asking why celine's management didn't released a pure DVD of Music Videos...I mean unlike on All The Way... they just featured some videos...But I gues we will be all happy if Celine's management will released a DVD that contains music videos of hers that includes all her videos, complete, I mean...from her first act during 1981 until now, which includes studio and live videos... It would be great... what do you think guys

I very with you very much about releasing it after her 2nd break. Sony should definitely make a DVD of her rarest appearances dating back to 1981 There's just so much material out there. Fans can't afford to miss out on them

I definitely think that a new collector series should not include songs that are included on so many other CD's. Too redundent. I think it should have a lot of rare songs like the ones mentioned previously, and old songs not older than from ANDHC.

I did like the first one but it has a obvious errors like stating "I Love You" from "celine dion" album and "I Love You Goodbye" from "Falling Into You" album, gotten mixed up right? So I hope that those who are responsible for itshould make sure they won't do it again especially that those were very obvious errors and I can't really think how could that happen because the errors were clear and they didn't even corrected it.

erm sry but...NO WAY. why put these songs that we already have in Celine's albums? it would be like the awful Collectors Series #1... there are plenty rare songs like

dance with my father,

i knew i loved you,

if i ruled the world,

if i can dream ,

si dieu existe,

tout pres du bonheur,

bewitched bothered and bewildered ...and more...

I do agree with anewdayhascome, they should include more unreleased tracks from the time she was in Vegas.

 

I guess the album will be released in 2010, certainly 10 years after the 1st part, which included the songs from the 10 years in the past. I treat The Collector's Series album as a continuation to All The Way... A Decade Of Song album.

Was it me, or did it sound like Celine was very happy with her balance of career and full-time mom that she is pleased to remain in the spotlight. That's the way she made it sound, she knows that she can do it now.

 

I don't want any break longer than that first break, but the break between MIRACLE and D'ELLES was awful. (Not including ON NE CHANGE PAS)

i would say rare songs that's only include in other artists album or in singles...

and maybe 2 or 3 unreleased songs too
