A new day contract

Ok, I have been thinking about this for a while but did not come across it in the forum so far. I know that Celine originally signed a contract for "A new Day....." for $99 million. Does anyone know what they offered her when she decided to resign for another year? Just cruious. Celine is worth every penny and I am so enjoying the DVD.

i thought the contract for the entire production was over 300 million... that's what rene said on the DVD "A New Day The Secrets".. maybe i'm wrong.. but whatever it was she got a lot of money.. she deserves every penny though!

Those are just rumors, he has not lost that much, are you kidding!

Besides there was a statement made by one of the Caesar's Palace executives that said they were not true.

Like she would have to stay in Vegas another year to settle 'gambling debts'!

JUST AN ESTIMATE:

$100M (original contract) + $30-40M (extension of the contract) +200M (50% of the ticket sales) + DVD royalties

(unknown although Celine is getting NOT below $2.80 per album sold)

A New Day pulled in $100M in sponsorships but I'm not sure if Celine's getting a piece of it.

There is no way Celine signed for 2 full more years while the show was doing so well for only 30-40 million when she signed a 100 million dollar deal for a 3 year deal. The second contract I heard she was offered around 75 million.

I also heard about $30 million for each year she extended. It almost equates to original deal she had, especially since the extensions consisted of far less shows. $75 million seems way too steep; maybe the 2 years totaled to $75M.

Now we know why Celine no longer cares about album sales. haha What I remember is that she was offered $80M for 3 more years but fewer shows. Since Celine only agreed to do it for 2 additional years, we don't know for sure how much the extension earned her. Edited by manuel morriso
