The 13th Annual "Eyes of Christmas" presentations are beingtelecast via multiple cable and satellite networks to over 80 millionhomes. Stars include Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, RebaMcIntyre, Sandra Bullock, Charlton Heston, Tom Hanks, Drew Barrymore,Nicole Kidman, Pierce Brosnan, Jay Leno, Bob Costas and Natalie Cole. Musicperformances will be featured by Sting, U2, Christina Aguilera, BrianMcKnight, Jon Bon Jovi, Kenny G, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, The BlindBoys of Alabama and Jose Feliciano. Former President Bush begins the broadcasts with a heartwarmingdescription of the classic, "It's A Wonderful Life" on NBC, with repeatairings the week of December 17. Mr. Bush's narration is delivered throughTheatreVision, which adds a description of the action and scene to theactors' dialogue, enabling the blind to enjoy the film along with thesighted. Special broadcasts will air throughout the holidays on the Dish, PAXand ION Networks, as well as on independent stations in top US markets(check your local listings for dates and times). This year's "Eyes ofChristmas" telecast will culminate with a special Christmas Eve airing ofthe Charles Dickens' favorite, "Scrooge," between midnight and 8 a.m.,Christmas morning.
