A New Day Review - December 13, 2007

Here's my review from last night. It was a great show! TONS of fans were there and it was so enjoyable!

 

A New Day Review 12.13.07

 

I was ready for night #2 to begin. I was in ORCH 4 BB surrounded by TONS of huge Celine fans, so I was very excited for the show. The audience was 1000 times better than the night before and that made the show so much more enjoyable.

 

Celine was on with her songs, she sounded absolutely amazing. I can’t remember all that she talked about, but she mentioned how there were only 2 more shows left and everybody in the audience said “NO”. She talked about how A New Day has become a family for her and the fans are her family too, it was so sweet.

 

Once again, TC was absolutely amazing. Celine was on and I could hear almost the whole section singing along with it, it was so amazing! After SM, Celine went right into PQTME, which was a little disappointing because she didn’t sing the Christmas song and I was looking forward to that again!

 

The audience was GREAT! We stood up for LCMM, RDMH and Celine was LOVING every second of it! Unfortunately, MHWGO came all to soon, which always means it’s the end of the show. One strange thing that happened was after MHWGO, no dancers were on the stage or anything and Celine just stood there and there was a TON of security to my right side and I knew something was up. So Celine talked about how she just received her award from the Governor of Nevada, who was sitting in the front row with his wife (little did I know, lol. I just thought it was some old guy, lol!). Celine mentioned how she was still keeping her house in Las Vegas and the crowd cheered! Then she went on to say that this since there is only 2 shows left, she can do whatever she wants, and she said she’d like to extend the show with one more song. So she sang The Christmas Song at the point, which was kind of a weird spot for it. She just stood right in the middle of the stage though. The main angel didn’t come down because Celine was standing right underneath her and she never moved, lol! Another thing that was different from last night is that they added blue Christmas lights to the tree, it was nice. Then the guy in the Santa suit actually rode the bike across the stage as opposed to flying across the stage which was kind of weird.

 

Over all, it was a great show. The fans made it so much more enjoyable for me tonight than the previous night. I can only imagine what Friday and Saturday will be like!

Yes, thank you so much for taking the time to still do a review for the many of us who couldn't be there. I'm glad you're enjoying these last few concerts. I'm sure if I was in Vegas I probably would be having too much fun to make time to come online, Enjoy your very Merry Celine Holiday!

Ya...it totally sounds like the excitement is mounting and the emotions are overflowing. Perhaps that's why there were those weird moments as you described them Sarah. I can't even imagine what being there right now might be like. You people are sharing some intimate moments with Celine and the rest of the AND crew, so savour it and cheer loud for the rest of us!
