SarahJB5 Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:19 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:19 PM Tonight’s show was absolutely amazing! That’s all I can say about it. I was so excited to see the show and Celine for my 15th time! Celine was running way late as usual, the show didn’t start until after 9pm. But when she came out, she looked amazing and sounded amazing. During ANDHC, the crowd gave her TONS of cheers! I could tell she was really emotional from all of the cheering because she would turn her back to us multiple times as if to avoid tearing up. It was incredible. She got long standing ovations after every song. She did well with the next songs, then after TLYM she gave us a really long speech. She talked about the show starting soooooooo late and that she wanted it that way so it wouldn’t get done as fast. She talked about how the show is coming to an end and I got emotional at this point. She thanked us, the fans, for allowing her to be so successful in Vegas with her show. She got back into singing with IA and then stopped and said “I don’t usually talk here, but I can do whatever I want”. So she sang taking chances. It was absolutely incredible! I just love that song and to hear her sing it live in person was such a treat. After SM, Celine sat down just like she was going to sing IIC. Everything seemed like that was what would happen, however, she sang The Christmas Song instead. It was very beautiful and the dancers that were on the swing wore Santa hats and then the dancer who rides the bike at the end was in a Santa suit. It was very cute. She said after that song that her son was almost 7-years-old and it was because of him that she sang this song tonight! A little girl got the rose that was in the front row. It was so cute, Celine went up to her and the little girl just froze! She did end up giving Celine a kiss on the cheek though! The crowd in ORCH 4 was really terrible though. There were fans that wanted to stand up for every song and this guy sitting in back of us (row DD) almost jumped over our row to get a person in BB to sit down. It was really annoying and distracting to the show. I can’t believe people pay so much money for their tickets and just want to sit on their butt the whole time. Luckily though, we were able to stand the entire time for RDMH and nobody said anything to us. It’s like if you want to see, stand up then! I really hope that the crowds get better from here on out! Overall though, the show was great. I’m so glad that I’m here for this week and will get to take in 3 more shows! To anybody else that was there, feel free to add more to this review. I’m sure there was a lot that I left out! Quote I'm a twin mommy just like Celine!Sophia and Anthony arrived on December 28, 2010 http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f380/SarahJB5/asblockssmaller.jpg

Shesings2me Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:41 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:41 PM Hello Sarah, It's too bad the whole place wasn't filled with just us dedicated and appreciative fans who would be on our feet for the whole 90 mins. I was there last week and she was beautiful and full of emotion as well, but it seems more is pouring out of her. The addition of the Christmas Song is fantastic and was probably such a nice surprise for all of you. Keep the reviews coming and I wish you and the others from the forum many, many magic moments with Celine! Quote http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5273/18771156.jpg
EnchantedCeline Posted December 13, 2007 at 07:32 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 07:32 PM Nice review. Glad to hear she added the Christmas Song. Sorry to hear you had some lame people sitting near you. It seems like Caesar's gives a lot of those seats to their high rollers so that's why you end up with a bunch of stiffs down there. Do you know was the show officially sold out? Was there a stand by line? Quote

CarolynofFL Posted December 14, 2007 at 02:18 AM Posted December 14, 2007 at 02:18 AM We were lucky enough to be on the front row and stood up a lot!!! I think the Celine Forum was on the first three rows so we had a blast with all the fan excitement in our area. After Celine gave her speech about her time in Vegas and how the cast has become a family, during the next song a dancer was crying while dancing. Seems like there is a lot of genuine emotions for everyone in the cast. After the show a lot of cast member were carring a very large flat white boxe with "A New Day" poster on the front. We asked someone what it was. They received a large frame photo of Celine and her new DVD as well other gifts. stevethefan Posted December 14, 2007 at 03:19 AM Posted December 14, 2007 at 03:19 AM Great review Sarah! It's nice that she played one of her Christmas songs. Too bad about the guy behind you. Sounds like someone who just wanted to go to say he had seen her. Well at least YOU were, and are, there to represent the TRUE fans! Quote

How nice that you were blessed to be around Celine almost every day in however long you've been with the show. So...what other gifts were in the box...if you're willing to divulge?? I'm sorry that it will all end for you this week, but I'm sure it was a real ride while it lasted. Stay well, T. Quote http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5273/18771156.jpg

LVCeline Posted December 14, 2007 at 05:04 PM Posted December 14, 2007 at 05:04 PM I am so jealous you got to hear an extra song! I HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE she does that on her final night! I don't even like the song, but to get to hear her perform a song that nobody else does would just be so amazing! I can imagine everyone is way sad that the show is ending! Quote

I’m sure there was a lot that I left out! Oh wow, thats too bad you got hasseled. I was in Orch4, CC that night and stood a lot during the show and no one bothered me and I'm tall - 6'0"! I was sitting directly behind the governor and his wife - perfect seat!! I actually thought the energy in that section was great, we were all cheering & screaming after almost every song. She def felt the love comin from us! River Deep, Mountain High was incredible! It's my fav of the whole show, it's just amazing and so well put together and performed. I don't know how you can't get up & dance during that song - it's impossible!!!! Quote ~J O E Y~
