The Pope just died!

 

I am not catholic, I am othodox.......but I think that he represented all the religions! It's so sad that he is dead. We should all pray for him right now!

I'm catholic and I'm just speechless. This is a very sad day for everybody, no matter if you have a religion or not. He was a Great Man.

In a way, I feel relieved for him. Now it's ok. I couldn't handle this news of his suffering and pain over and over again, it's too much suffering for one man, so old who has already lived so much and has been through so many times and hard times. Now he is finally in peace.God bless him.

I knew nothing about him, disagree and agree with him in many things, and though I don't have religion in my life I can see the effect he had on millions around the world. I can see the place he held in many hearts, and for that, I appreciate him, whether I had any personal feelings for him or not.

it is very sad, but i think it's better for him. he was suffering too much, and for the good man he was, he did not deserve to suffer. it's better for him

First of all, if you don't mind, I think every one on the board has a right to know what you just said because your words just touched my heart and I really think it can touch others too!

 

It doesn't matter what (religion) you are, I am catholic born in Romania, without any religion right now but with an enormous respect for everything alive or that worths respect, so including for the Pope.

I don't pray for him because there are people who can pray for him soul(or there are enough people who can pray for his soul). But honestly I am sorry, it's a big tragedy, my soul cries inside me when I see so many sad people. I am suffering too when I see just suffering around me even when UI don't know what is it all about.

I just respond to others sensibility!

Papa e un simbol al lumii intregi.Moartea sa a adus numai suferinta si tristete.Flori acum curg alaturi de lacrimi,suflete unse de suferinta,ochi suferinzi,pentru a secunda soarele a apus,totul e in intuneric,un moment de respct ptr un om cu suflet,ptr un simbol de veacuri al crestinatatii.

Acum nu ma refer la Papa, ci in general...Si defapt e normal, nu voi suferi de fiecare data cand vad pe cineva suferind........din nou, sunt f putin oameni care fac acest lucru si am tot respectul pt ei.

I am Catholic and I am Polish and there are just no words to describe the grief that I'm feeling right now. I don't think that any other country in the world is experiencing Pope's death the way we do. After all, he was one of us.

 

But apart from that, I think that through his actions he has earned respect not only of Catholics, but of people of all religions all around the world. He was just a wonderful man who tried to make the world a better place. He will never be forgotten!
