EnchantedCeline Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Just quick review of her Dec 6th show. My friend and I were lucky to score 5th row dead center seats the day before on Ticketmaster. I am a fairly new Celine fan and saw her once before in September from the 1st Mezz. It was like a different show being so close. You can see every expression on her face so clearly. It is amazing the energy and passion she exudes for 90+ minutes. Every thing in her manner is so genuine. My personal faves are "I'm Alive", "To Love You More", "Seduces Me"(Those dancers, wow...), and "River Deep, Mountain High". I do really like "Taking Chances" live. At the end of the show she gave two roses to two small children sitting in the front row and they each kissed her on the cheek. It was very cute. She did speak about how hard it was that the show was ending and how her dancers, singers, etc will always be a "family". I am so jealous of you who will be attending the last show/s next week. I am sure she will be even more emotional. My joke was if I hit it big on a slot machine, I would be coming back for the 15th. Sadly, I left more money in Vegas than I came home with. I had two extra 6th row seats that I couldn't get rid of so we gave them to my friends parents who would never think of seeing Celine. Let me tell you. They were BLOWN AWAY by her. My friends mother said the show was like a religous revival. I think we just converted two more into TeamCeline. Have a great show to all you seeing her final shows. Quote

Shesings2me Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I was at the same show and had a beautiful time too...but in 2nd Mezz; the view was great even from up there especially because you can see everything, every design, every dancer, all the choreography coming together in a dazzling extravaganza of our enchanting Celine and her "AND Family"! It's too bad I didn't get to meet you "Enchanted". My partner and I met up with some other fans (one from Korea and another from the UK) and we spent some time toghether, took pics, etc. The highlight though was hanging out at the garage, talking with the security folks, and waving at Celine as she arrived. Her car was in for repairs that day so they were driving another one that didn't have really dark windows or a curtain for that matter, so when I waved at her I could actually see the shadow of her hands, arms, and face waving back at me. It was a moment I will never forget. We were so happy to get the opportunity to wish a "Bonne Show" to our beloved Celine; we had made up a poster with a short message to that effect. The next night all I saw was the curtain, but the head of her security chatted with us beforehand and made us feel so special. And inside, everyone from the ticket takers to the ushers to the other fans were so friendly, so courteous, and so kind that it took my breath away. I showed off my Celine-signed shiny black jacket to all who would look and my smile shone from ear to ear. I shouted out "I love you Celine" twice the 1st night and again on the 2nd, and sent one of my "woooohoooohoooohoooo"s out so loud and crisp to her at the end of the show that my partner and I are so sure she turned back to acknowledge it for a split second before she ran off the stage for good. I am so glad that I was finally able to make this dream come true and I will keep the moments in my heart forever!! Many blessings to all of you who will be there to share the last week with Celine and the crew; make the most of it! I can't wait to hear about the many adventures and special moments that will come out of that. Stay well everyone, T. Quote http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5273/18771156.jpg

jacwar58 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I was there as well and I have to say the audience were great this night, standing ovations from the beginning. Obviously more fans than gamblers. I was there the night before as well (5th) and she had technical problems and had to stop the show and talk until it was all sorted. It was good really as she was sponaneous and not scripted. She said she'd had a break from the show to do promo for the new album. She said that she found it hard to find a tv channel she wasn't on so if people didn't like her it was too bad! It was really good to have her sing Taking Chances as well. I was sitting behind the person who got the rose - actually she gave 2 out. One to a little old man of about 90 and the second to a very elegant lady who had very blonde Marilyn Monroe style hair. When she hugged her I heard Celine whisper into her ear ''you're beautiful''.That's it now, arrived home this afternoon all jet lagged and have to wait for the tour before I see her again.
