Celine sent a fairy costume to Tommy Mottola's newborn.

Music mogul TOMMY MOTTOLA and his Mexican pop star wife THALIA have been flooded with gifts from celebrity friends CELINE DION and BILLY JOEL following the birth of their baby girl SABRINA SAKAE.

Mottola, 58, and his wife of seven years welcomed their first child Sabrina in October (07) and the couple is delighted to have received such a variety of expensive gifts.

Thalia says, "Celine Dion, for instance, sent a fairy costume, with a lovely note. Billy Joel gave her a whole organic outfit, made entirely from environmentally friendly materials that won't damage the planet. "Gloria and Emilio Estefan sent a box of beautiful clothes, and my fans have sent all sorts of wonderful things, from baby clothes to little bunny outfits."

Side Story: One of my friends' brother is (or was) in a band, and Madonna was involved with them, and when he had his baby, Madonna sent them a golden carriage for the baby... :P

I heard Celine also volunteered to dress as a flower and pose with it at their convenience, for a new book, "Miracle...the world's richest babies" :giggle:

Wow, that's very nice of Celine. She and Thalía have crossed paths before. You could see Thalía sitting in the audience for her "All The Way" special back in 99, and Celine said some nice words about her charisma and music on a Billboard magazine interview or ad that ran in 2001 commemorating Thalía's then-new Spanish album. I have that magazine somewhere, so if I find it I'll scan the article.

She should have bought the baby earplugs so he wont hear his mother's awful cat-sex singing and a groucho marx mask so no one will know he's Tommy's. UUGH! Who would claim that jerk as a dad anyways LOL!

 

In case you didnt notice, I have ZERO respect for Mottola.
