becomplete Posted December 4, 2007 at 12:34 PM Posted December 4, 2007 at 12:34 PM Here in Germany there are lots of tickets available, even in the best category you can still get them, although they're on sale since a month. Not only the concert tickets but also the album sells under expectations. I even think that if there won't be a hit single here, lots of seats will stay empty at these high prices. Quote
Cheerfuljane Posted December 4, 2007 at 01:31 PM Posted December 4, 2007 at 01:31 PM The prices in South Africa are extremely high for first category seats. A months salary for most people Ticket sales have gone up since the release of Taking Chances. Still tickets available for 7 out of the 8 shows. Tickets have sold well - we generally never sell out for concerts - just the way it is in our country Quote

Dionesque Posted December 5, 2007 at 04:25 PM Posted December 5, 2007 at 04:25 PM I think in Germany there are many tickets already sold. Concerning that she's not SO famous here (I mean, it's not like in France, hehe) and that there are 6 shows in Germany, the tickets are selling just fine. I think there are about 50% tickets sold for each venue, probably in Berlin it's more than 50%. Of course there are still very good seats available but it's about auctions (eBay and other auctions). The 1st category seats you can get through regular sale are not that good seats anymore. Dionesque Posted December 6, 2007 at 05:05 PM Posted December 6, 2007 at 05:05 PM Yes, Diana, there were front rows auctions for German shows at www.fansale.de - that's how I got front row for Berlin. But I think the most 1st row tickets are already sold out there. There were a few sets of auctions already. First the auctions started with original ticket prices, than the last set started from 1 euro. I wanted to bid for Hamburg but I couldn't be at home at the time auctions ended yesterday. But just check it there - I'm sure there will be more auctions, esp. now before Christmas! It's the official site connected with eventim.de so I think it's quite safe - my tickets for Berlin arrived superquickly! Ach, and there are also some good (also front rows) tickets at www.viagogo.co.uk for almost all European concerts of Céline! I saw front row tix for Berlin there too and they got fixed, buy-now prices but they were way more expansive then at fansale.de . Hope this helps? Hugs! superstarleash Posted January 27, 2008 at 08:39 AM Posted January 27, 2008 at 08:39 AM The publicity here in Australia (especially Melbourne atleast), is very very bad. I saw one advert in our major newspaper and the show hasn't been listed since!!! It's been LEFT OFF the touring lists!! The concert was mildly advertised during an album ad but other than that, I haven't seen anything. The majority of people wouldn't even know she was coming!! To sum up, it's not selling the best here. Quote http://www.celinerific.com/Signatures/ThinkSig.jpg

Cheerfuljane Posted February 3, 2008 at 11:25 AM Posted February 3, 2008 at 11:25 AM The second concert in Pretoria (South Africa) is not selling well.Such a huge stadium - silly to have 2 shows !! It`s a poor country Durban has the best sales out of the big stadium shows Apparently there is a lot of advertising, though, especially on TV, so hopefully this will help the sales. It would also help if they lowered the prices Quote

I'm from Port Elizabeth and my friends and I all have Golden Circle tickets, right in front! Yay! It is rather expensive but hey' it's Celine Dion! It's not everyday that a huge international selling artist visits your country, nevermind your city! So I had to close my eyes and buy a ticket, and I refure to sit at the back at any show, I want to be as close to the stage as possible, even if it means paying more for my ticket Quote http://www.petrodevilliers.co.za/images/petrocdpromo.jpg
