how do you record your songs?

I know how to upload the songs you record....but what program do you use to record your voice over the music?

I use 'Sound Forge' to edit and 'Cubase SX3' to record.

I use Adobe Audition, also known as Cool Edit - very great software to work with any kind of music, sound, voice recording etc.!

hey.. how do you get audition 3.0 to not record the music in the same track as your mic? I don't have this problem with cool edit.. but for some reason with audition it records the track playing in the vocal track with the mic.. I have the headphones in and everything...

whaddya mean? you mean Audition records you singing in the instrumental track? if that's the case, just press the small red R button on the track after the instru track in the multitrack view
