A Sincere message from one fan to many others!

Hi my cherished Celine pals ,

 

I'm going to AND next Thurs & Fri for the VERY FIRST TIME seeing Celine in so, so many years of watching her grow, listening to her heavenly voice, and with just so much love for this down-to-earth french Canadian sweetheart. Because Celine invokes a strange kind of love affair in us, at first its easy to be jealous of all of you who have met her, received a rose from her, danced with her or her dancers, been to 5 or more shows, been in the first few rows, etc, etc, but I've been trying lately to just concentrate on the fact that I'll be in the same room with her (ok...so it's a big one with many other people in it)LOL, and that she'll be "singing to me" in the beautiful way she always has.

 

I want to thank you all for sharing such wonderful memories of your time with Celine. I look forward to keeping track of Celine on this amazing forum with you during her world tour and seeing her again next October in Edmonton, AB, Cda; I just donated to this forum to support our Celine neighbourhood so to speak; I encourage more of you to do the same.

 

I have also been working with an Alberta representative for Women's shelters in Canada to ask Celine, Rene, Sony, etc to support the First World Conference of Women's Shelters to be held in Edmonton, Canada next September. My dream is for "This Time" to make big changes for many families around the world. We have sent off letters asking for help in subsidizing shelter workers from around the world & helping these often forgotten crisis workers come together to share their knowledge of how to help families feel safe, heal, and thrive.

 

I will wait and hope that my efforts make a difference, and in the meantime I will work hard at my jobs as crisis counsellor and mother, continue to enjoy Celine's blessed voice, come here everyday to follow all the Celine news and excitement, and hold deep down the dream that I share with many of you...to spend just one moment in the presence of Ms. Dion.

I'm so happy you get to see Céline for the first time! I hope you know that those of us who have been blessed over the years, being able to be closer to the woman we all love and adore -- do realize how lucky we are, and wish it upon every other fan out there. At least I do. I'm so happy you are finally getting your opportunity!

 

I also think it's incredible what you do, it takes a strong person to do so.

Welcome to the forum!!!! I hope you will enjoy the concert as I did. The first time I went I was crying sooo much and even though I had seen her already I decided to go again last year because i didn't want to attend my Senior Prom, so I decided to go to her concert again. Its a FANTASTIC and UNFORGETTABLE show.

Thank you all for your kinds words and for sending Celinerrific love my way. I will make sure to write up my review and tell you all about my experience at AND as well as the fan meetings I'm having with "Celinestyle" from Korea and another fan I met on Facebook from the UK. I'm going to make up a poster to wish Celine a "bonne show" and we're going to try to wait outside the garage for her before the show. Wish us luck...just a sighting would be so exciting!
