Quick AND Review from 11/29

Hey guys. I'm still in Vegas, and will be here until Dec. 5th. Celine's show last night was amazing! She was pumped and on fire! Nothing big happened for me other than she just glanced at me during a song and smiled, but that was pretty much it lol. I couldn't believe I was standing so close to her. That was my first time EVER seeing her live or anything! I met Diana and her little girl as well. They, of course, had front row seats...(AS ALWAYS) LOL! Her little girl recieved the rose from Celine...AGAIN, and got lots of attention after the show for it! I heard one lady ask Diana if she knew Celine lol...because Celine paid so much attention to them during the show. Diana, you were great...very nice, and I look forward to hanging out with you this weekend some time before we leave. Back to Celine...this is kinda quick because I have so much to do tonight before we come back. It was funny after Seduces me was over, because Celine held her dress at the top and faned herself and said "Wheeeww"...everyone laughed. After she said that, she said "I'm going to let those boys go finish...........",and then there was silence and the auidence giggled...and she threw her arm down and said "PUT ON A SHIRT"...lol because it totally sounded like she meant SOMETHING else.

 

Ok, well....I'll talk to you all more about it later...gonna go now...just know it was amazing, she was refreshed and ready to come back. I won't be on here probably again until I get home, because I'm not paying another ten bucks for internet!!

 

She did say at her first song break that from last night on, would be a very special night for her, because she only has 13 shows left. She teared up and her voice became a little weak talking about it. She talked about it for a long time it seemed before she started singing again.

 

Ok, I'm stopping now!

Ohhhh yeah! I forgot to mention that....YES she did sing it! It was amazing live. It sounded SOO much better than on TV! It was HOT! She said that...as everyone knows, her new album just came out, so she wanted to sing TC...it was awesome.

 

I hate the fact that I know her show JUST NOW started a few mins ago, and I'm not there...but I'm starring at the Coloseum now...

I heard she sang it on Nov 30th as well. I am pretty sure this is the final change to the show. I am going tonight and tomorrow and i hope she will sing it.

I happened to be in Las Vegas this last week and managed to get cancelled tickets for the 29th show (in the 6th row!!). It was amazing to see 'Taking Chances' live. And she did say she wanted to add it to the show, so I'm sure it is safe to expect she will sing it in every show until the end. It was pretty amazing overall too. The speech about the show ending was a bit cheesy, but that's just Celine. I enjoyed it. I've seen the show last time in September 2005 and so all the outfits were new to me. I was very happy to see the show one more time. Didn't really expect to get tickets anymore.

I can't wait, I can't wait...only 3 more sleeps until I leave for Vegas & 4 more sleeps to see the precious Celine. It will be a nice treat to hear "Taking Chances" sung in the show.

They didn't use any effects. It was just Celine in the center and the backuo singers to the left of her and the band members playine live music. Then Celine walked to the front and did her "getting down" dance. The majority of the audience was unfamiliar with TC, or so i thought. I don't know about the back, but I was the only person in front row who actually sang along and was enthusiastic about the song in general. Heck, I was so excited to hear the song. I had a feeling that she would include something for the last shows.

 

I didn't sit outside myself but i drove by on my way out of self park garage to the strip and these folks were sitting there with Celine bags:):) I am pretty sure she got in her black sedan, some kind of top eschelon of Mercedes brand but not Mercedes. I also heard that fans get chased out of there all the time.

Only one Celine bag.. not mine. ..Anyhow.. Here's some advice. There's a garage (without a door) inside the gates where she goes in, and that's where the big black Mercedes was. (You can see the car on the DVD that comes with the new cd) We were indeed told off, but as clever we are, we didn't leave.. You can see her perfectly from the opposite side of the driveway. (And I think you could get nice pics from there with a good zoom. Didn't have a camera since didn't want to leave it at the door at Colosseum...) Soo... There's a parking lot on the other side that's on a bit higher ground than the garage where her car is. From the look of the vegetation there, it looked like many others had been standing there! I advice you though, try not to be seen by the Ceasar's staff. Also there are lots of mice there! Soooo.. we saw her getting into the car and then we moved fast to the driveway where they would pull up. And so we saw her sitting in the car. They had the light on in the back and she seemed to be reading something. Rene was in the car also. Back windows of the car have curtains but you could see her thru the front since the light was on. The car was stopped right by us for a while cause of traffic. She seemed very into in whatever she was reading so she didn't look up. But anyways, we caught a climpse of her despite the Ceasar's staff's attempts! I think a better chance to see her would be when she arrives at the Colosseum. And a better chance for her to see YOU. Well, I'm back from Vegas...and it sucks...I seriuosly could move there. I cried the whole way home on the plane..it was rediculous...I wore my sunglasses so no one could see me...lol

 

I think I'm going to have to steer clear of the forum until her final show is over...I can't bear to read about people getting there and their flights and all the excitement...it kills me not to be there!!! Arrghhhh...frustration...

Ahh thanks for the tips. I guess it's good to hang to catch a glimpse of her but no chance to speak

to her, get a pic with her, or an autograph. What time did she come out? Any clue what

time she usually arrives? I guess both can vary a lot depending upon what she has going on for

that particular day.

Yea, you're right, it all depends on things that depend on things.. but that's what fans do, they wait! It took pretty long in my mind before she came out then. Well over an hour at least. Maybe 2. We thought she probably met all those Canadians before she came out... But it was nice to see her outside the stage. She's a pretty unreal person to me anyways, so it was nice. And I didn't mind waiting, we had great company, a couple from Germany and it was nice to chat with them, time flew by! (Hi, if you see this!) .. I remember reading somewhere sometime she would come to the Colosseum about an hour, hour and a half, before the show. But surely it all varies. But after the show you will at least know that she WILL come out. Eventually lol.

I would so love to live there...there is always something to do! Never a dull moment! I wouldn't mind having a roommate! Are jobs easy to find there? Is the pay decent?

awww you probably did see me! i am the short skinny one...haha (i'm usually next to the tall skinny one. we both have brown hair). Too bad it's such chaos over there before the shows. i would have loved to meet you!

 

Ugh - I know, it sucks you didn't get to see it! O sells the best of all five cirques in vegas, and it was especially hard to get that weekend because dec 2 was their last night before their vacation. you will just have to come back and see it sometime! i totally would have hooked you up if i had known ahead of time you didn't have tickets yet! I look up random dates in the computer for O when I'm bored!! haha. sometimes i catch when they release really good blocks of seats... it's like a game...hah. O's my favorite, but luckily we sell for all the cirques so i don't get fired for being honest when people ask my favorite...haha.

Actually, O had great seats still available one month before my trip...why I didn't buy them then is beyond me...but anyway, I'll see it one day I suppose...if I ever go back! Which I do want to!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was you I spotted. I was in line where the ticket counter stops...then there were what seemed to be thousands of people behind me...I looked at my mom and said "Aren't you glad we got here when we did"...but I was having hot flashes because it was so crowded! The asian guy sold us our tickets earlier in the week...and he was sooooo nice, and cute too! lol

No, not at all...they didn't have anything planned for it...just her and a microphone! It was still unbelievable live, though...better than the CD even...or any talk show or show for that matter!
