VinnyT. I like the song, BUT what happened to the creativity of film composers? Film music should be made of original compositions imo. Quote

celinedream Posted September 26, 2008 at 03:41 PM Posted September 26, 2008 at 03:41 PM I saw this movie the other day. Donkey Xote. It's the story of Don Quixote by the creators of Shrek. It was a nice surprise to hear ANDHC (Celine's version) once in the begining of the movie as Donkey is running across the valley in a sunset. And a second time during one of the final battle sequences (cover version by a singer named Elisabeth Grey whom I've never heard of before) All in all, it was not a good movie at all. Boring and slow. Not so funny for my taste. And I did love Shrek but this one was totally boring. Apparently this is a Spanish movie so the only place I could find the CD is in a Spanish department store website . The DVD can be found in Amazon. Sorry but you got it all wrong, this is a case of "jeta" publicity in which the product mocks of a potential critic and that's why they use in the poster the phrase "From the producers that WATCHED shrek"...so the film was produced by Filmax an independent company that works with 100% Spanish capital (or so they say) I haven't seen the whole film but I think it's great to see such animations from an Spanish independent company By the way this company is the same that produced an animated film of El Cid Quote
