Kyle_Jared Posted November 27, 2007 at 10:42 PM Posted November 27, 2007 at 10:42 PM Celine always usually makes an apperance on these two shows when promoting an album..but not this time. Maybe in December? Quote
caroline_reynolds Posted November 27, 2007 at 11:02 PM Posted November 27, 2007 at 11:02 PM She'll probably do another promotion blitz before her tour in December/January. She is already set to perform in France at Star Academy and NRJ Music Awards both in January so they probably kept latterman, leno, larry king and mroe for the winter. Quote

krazy_kool_dude Posted December 8, 2007 at 11:52 AM Posted December 8, 2007 at 11:52 AM We should be glad Celine hasn't done this shows yet. I doubt they'll want to have the same guests every few months. Celine should save some of these performances for the new year. Taking Chances should have a continued promotion not a 1 month thing. Un Rêve Posted December 8, 2007 at 03:04 PM Posted December 8, 2007 at 03:04 PM What's this writers' strike thing all about?? And why does it prevent Céline from appearing at Leno, King, Letterman etc.?? Maybe someone from the US can explaine it to me? Sorry for being such blonde... Writers of tv shows are on strike because they want to get money from the profits of DVDs and Internet broadcasting of the shows. The networks are making billions from both, and the writers either get just a teeny-tiny percentage or nothing from it, eventhough they're the brains behind the shows. That's why many shows have stopped filming new episodes, as well as Leno, etc, because those shows are mostly about hollywood and if allt hey do is strike there, they might as well stop working. And probably because a lot of those shows is pre-written as well. That's about it. There would be talks after thanksgiving, but I haven't looked up yet how those are going. Quote
