What TCH moments are the most touching for you?

Celine, Celine, Celine. Oh, what would a Celine album be without those sappy moments. That would be like Manuel the Supercat vowing never to cast spells on anyone again.

 

Okay, here's my list:

 

1. My Love - "I would share my whole life with you....I would give all I am to you..." Something intangible emanates from Celine's voice everytime she sings about failed love.

 

2. Right Next... - The instrumental solo is quite poignant.

 

3. A World To... - I'll let you explain.

But "My Love" Has to be the most emotional song on the album

Some times i think even though she didnt write the song Maybe there's

actually truth in what shes singing which is sad

 

But i also Love "A World To Believe In"

Its what i wold call classic Celine For example, The "Then You Look At Me" Days

& Its a song that would fit perfectly on the Lets Talk About Love Album!!

 

Although I Do Love The Album As A Whole They Are The Two That Stand Out For Me!!

I love the part in "Song for you" when she sings "...I couldn't live...I couldn't live without your love..."-very emotional-and I love how she wails in that song...(and by the way-the guy who plays the piano is swedish and very famous here )

 

I also love the end in "Shadow of love" where her vocals is in the background-it's really great(the same thing with "Fade away").

 

"Skies of L.A." is very depressing in my opinion...it's beautiful to listen to-but I just don't get the song...the lyrics are so depressing... like the line "...this is total neglection..."...very depressing.Not one of my favorites.

Good topic! There are several moments like that for me on the cd...

 

TC: : "...I just wanna start again; maybe you could show me how to try; maybe you could take me in; somewhere underneath your SKIIN..." I just like how she sings certain words in that part; a little attitude

 

My Love: "...and I would shade my whole life with you...would you do the same for me? and I would give all I am to you...would you do the same for me?..." the fragility in her voice is chilling! Love that part so much!

 

Suprise, Surprise: then ending where she shouts "...just when ya think you've got me figured out, just when you think you've got me figured out; surprise SURPRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE..." and then her voice cracks out. Love the high note at the end.

 

Shadow of Love: "...don't wanna fight it would be in vain, so in vain, so in vaaaain..." I love the way she pronounces the first vain, it's shaky and different!

 

New Dawn: I can't even describe the low humming and the very first low notes. They are incredible to me. They impress me as much as any belt she's ever done. And then of course "...I am WOMAAAAAAAN; a MOUNTAIN I will CLIIIIIIIMB oh yes I will; OH! I been beat down and I been broken, but each DAAAAYAYAYAYAA I give it another TRYYYYYYYYYYY..." Those lines almost make the song for me.

 

Song For You: "...I couldn't live, couldn't live without your love; for one kiss, oh I'd give everything up..." I just adore that opening line so much coupled with the piano intro. Gorgeous.

 

Can't Fight the Feeling: "...love, love, love, and John Lennon said that was all you need; if you taste it once it won't be enough; I'm hooked on a feeling, a natural high, you better believe it and the reason why, is a thing called it makes me feel so aliiiiiive..." Love that part! I think a lot of people think that's when the song gets weird but I love it.

 

I Got Nothing Left: actually I LOVE her enunciation in all the verses, but my very favorite part is when she sings "...you never gave a damn so I guess now it's my turn..." gives me chills every time I listen to it!

 

TJTWIM: I love all her belts, but at the end when she starts singing "...cause I NEEEEEEEEED yeah, I need a man to love yeah; because I NEEEEEEED yeah I need a man to looove yeah OOOOOOH, respect me! protect me! rollover! drool over! run your way to ivory towers! buy me a bunch of flowers! and LOOOOOOOOOVE THAT'S THE WOMAN IN MY BABY YEAH, working on you, oh yeah, working on you..." and then of course the HUMONGOUS wail she lets off at the end. Just love the whole ending hehe.

 

Fade Away: I love when the vocals get REALLY high in the background at the end "...ONCE touched by pain, you're not the same, but time can heal your HEEEEEART again, so let the clouds that bring you down, just fade away..." and then the middle of the song when she sings "...I know that one day you'll find that feeling AGAIIIIIN, but until I do I'll do fine by myself..." and then comes back with that huge "...OOOOOOOONCE touched by PAIN..."

 

Sky's of L.A.: my favorite parts are when she sings "...and I don't know..." and "...all I know..." throughout the song. something about her tone is just luscious and low, I love it!

 

World to Believe In: First of the all the entire opening verse melts me, and then ..."and all of the promises broken, and all of the songs left unsung, seem so far away as I make my way back to yo..." And also "...I see for one fleeting moment, a paradise under the sun, I drift away and I make my way back to you; you gave me faith and you GAVE me a world to believe in..." I love her super high vocals at the end of the song. Her low tone is also amazing throughout.

I think you were one of the first of us, who loved the

parts I love it as well as you do, when Celine sings high long notes but my new favorite is "I Got Nothin' Left" for sure, she sounds like a little girl when she sings the "Anybody..." parts in the song and then the girl becomes a wife, angry that she needs to leave him but unable to not do it, she transports, what it feels like, when Love becomes Hate, that's no ballad, no clean high notes, more a rough shouting, that's why it touches most of 'em all.

Song for you - it's so incredibly beautiful, Celine's voice with the piano and the violin is just :wub:

World to believe in - a real Celine classic. I love the lyrics.
