beautyroses Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:24 PM Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:24 PM (edited) For me the edgiest song in this album is can’t fight the feeling, I just love it so much. And the songs that I am most happy celine sang them are “This time” and “eyes on me” and surprise surprise I love the powerful woman who is in these songs. In “eyes on me” there is a woman who believe she is the best choice for her lover and she commands him if he wants her he should only think of her. There is no beg like plz love me And in this time there is person who has cruel lover but she is leaving him for a new life, I Just love the part when she sings “what remains a mystery you can not have the best of me so I’m taking back all you took from me” in this part we can see she believes the real loser is her cruel lover not her. I loved celine sang these songs, I don’t remember such these songs with these kind of lyrics. For example in just walk away she is telling she should takes the blame to go on after her lover leaved her . but in “this time” it is totally different. What is your opinion? peo Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:36 PM Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:36 PM In my opinion, the most edgiest song in the album is "Can't Fight the Feeling". I LOVE it! Celinenvegas Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:56 PM Posted November 23, 2007 at 05:56 PM I'd say That's Just The Woman In Me and Can't Fight The Feeling. I love them both because they are so differant. Celine is singing not as technically as before but from her heart and her gut. She should do more of these types of songs! Quote ~J O E Y~

LuisMa Posted November 23, 2007 at 08:52 PM Posted November 23, 2007 at 08:52 PM The edgiest song has to be "Can't Fight The Feelin'", just as "Your Light" in Falling Into You, and both were co-written by rocker Aldo Nova. Actually, I can't stop listening to that song, as well as "My Love," "I Got Nothin' Left" and now "Alone." Those are my four favorites. Quote

Jeffieboi Posted November 24, 2007 at 05:13 AM Posted November 24, 2007 at 05:13 AM Hmmm...I see why people would say "Can't Fight The Feelin'", but to me it sounds like a 70's or early 70's rock song. It just sound dated. "That's Just The Woman In Me" is another dated sounding song. To me I would say "Fade Away" is edgy when she sings "once touched by pain" and "but time can heal". OMG, best part of the whole album. I think "This Time" is as well. Just the lyrics alone make the hairs stand up on the back on your neck. Quote
Thecolourofmylove Posted November 24, 2007 at 05:48 AM Posted November 24, 2007 at 05:48 AM I dont believe it! Am I the only one to think that 'Alone' is the edgiest?!? My vote for edgiest would be:-Woman in me-Map to my heart-New Dawnbecause I think she truly shows her range, stregnth, and vulnerability Quote Bryan Beavers | Create Your Badgehttp://badge.facebook.com/badge/577905483.228.1040373769.pnghttp://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o84/nafnoid23/Untitled-2.jpg
felixwhoals Posted November 24, 2007 at 07:05 AM Posted November 24, 2007 at 07:05 AM I prefer can't fight this feelin and shadow of love. it seems to be happy and catchy music. Terre Posted November 24, 2007 at 10:11 AM Posted November 24, 2007 at 10:11 AM The edgiest song? I don't know... Maybe Can't Fight The Feelin', This Time or That's Just The Woman In Me (which is one of my very favourite songs on the album ). I was kinda surprised that Céline recorded a song like This Time but I'm happy she did. sean83 Posted November 24, 2007 at 12:13 PM Posted November 24, 2007 at 12:13 PM (edited) Position #1: Fade Awayrock from the first to the last second, hard strings and a very tough voice from celine Position #2: Can't Fight The Feelingthe chorus (I'm hooked on a feelin...) and the bridge (Love, Love, Love...) are more pop song than rock or edgy. Position #3: This Timewonderful, very emotional but not that edgy, more afflicted, gives me creeps. Edited November 24, 2007 at 12:14 PM by sean83 Quote

sayyed Posted November 24, 2007 at 01:54 PM Posted November 24, 2007 at 01:54 PM CFTF has a very edgy beginning, the chorous is more pop though. Fade away is a rockpop song ala Kelly and even less edgy. For me the most edgiest song has to be TJTWIM, voice-wise. Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes
Immensité Posted November 24, 2007 at 03:16 PM Posted November 24, 2007 at 03:16 PM I definitely think "Can't fight the feeling"...but the song I love the most on the album is "Surprise Surprise"...I love that song so much-it's fabulous It has everything in it and I'm so glad she recorded it Quote
Nikosn17 Posted November 24, 2007 at 03:26 PM Posted November 24, 2007 at 03:26 PM In my opinion it's "Can't Fight the Feeling". It's such an amazing song. Quote
