This was the greatest day of my life.

 

I went to see THE TODAY SHOW with a bunch of people from the forum..most of whom had either won the teamceline contest for THE RAINBOW ROOM or were going with someone who had won. Me and Michael (IDroveAllNight) didn't win. We were the only 2 on standby and there were only 2 spots left. WE GOT IN!!!! So we were ecstatic. Turns out that the 2 guys that were sitting next to us were friends and had BOTH won the contest. So one of them dropped their ticket, leaving the 2 spots for me and Michael. I thanked them immensely. The woman who organized the whole event, her name was Kat..was my hero that day for being so nice and letting us in. But anyway, she lipped the 3 songs as said in the review thread for the show. So they said we could take pictures OF Celine as she walks out of the studio. That wasn't good enough for me...I ran through the crowd and screamed her name, and she turned to me. I asked if we could take a quick picture with eachother, and she said "Of course honey, please, come right over" I didn't miss a beat, I was right there. I had my hand around her waist, and she moved in close, and Kat took the pic for us. Celine thanked me before I could thank her, kissed me on the cheek and that was it. This is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

The photo came out awesome! I'm so happy for you...as soon as I figure out how to upload my pics, I will post the shot I took of you and her together as well. And you're right, we were extremely lucky. For the first time seeing Celine in my whole life, it wasn't a shabby way to do it. We were literally inches away from her on the Today Show and we were bestowed the great honor of attending the Christmas taping. I will never forget that moment (and I will have the table props I snuck out to remind me of it forever); it was so surreal, I couldn't believe she was right in front of me. It took a lot of guts for you to just run up to her like that, lol, but she was so kind and humble. Congrats again. Good work!!

Thank you everyone for your compliments and well wishes. It was really the most amazing thing that I have ever experienced!!!!! For the one who said I was flushed in the pic, that was because I didn't sleep AT ALL the night before lol....I would never have been able to wake up if I went to sleep, so I stayed up throughout the whole night and was at Rockefeller Center for THE TODAY SHOW by 4:45AM. I will enver forget that day, or that moment. I met a lot of new friends and will cherish the memories forever.

That was me...I was a famous boy for a day...I even got a gift from some woman that was meant for Celine because she didn't get the chance to give it to her. She told me to pretend ot be Celine for the day. I had no problem with that lol

I would like to think that I would have done the same thing 'cause I can't see just letting the opportunity pass by without any effort whatsoever. I will learn from your example, and if I see her this week when I'm in Vegas for two of the shows, I'll make sure to "Carpe Diem"..."Seize the Day" as you did young man.
