Taking Chances promotion in India

Well, as I mentioned before there's huge promotion going on here for Taking Chances. Star World has teamed up with Indya.com and has started a contest to see Celine in Vegas.

 

Plus, they are showing the entire "Making of.." in Star World on the 5th of December and the video has been on the channel alot.

 

It doesn't matter if you're from India or not, you just got to be a subscriber of Star World and you can have a go at it

I was watching "The Black Donnellys" on Star World and my my.. the promo for Taking Chances was shown in each and every single break during the entire show and when the show ended.. there it was again I am so so loving it :clap:

I loved the contest rules

 

Each contestant is allowed multiple contest entries and the last entry received will be treated as the only valid entry. Contestants must ensure their contact details required are complete and accurate. Incomplete, illegible or late entries shall be disqualified.

 

The PRIZE per winner per city is: Two concert tickets to "A New Day..." featuring Celine Dion in Las Vegas, two return airfare tickets to Las Vegas, and one night hotel stay for two. Winner will be determined by STAR World and will be notified in private by STAR Group Ltd.

Notwithstanding the above, STAR World reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to vary the prize with others of equal value, without assigning any reason or giving prior notification.

 

So you can enter many times but only once

and you will win a trip to Vegas to see Celine but maybe not

He he he! I knew it was only the 42 minutes one! But I don't mind watching! I've tolad all my friends! We're all going to get popcorn and sit in front of the TV!

 

And the entire contest thingy for me is sad because you've to be 21 to be eligible! Shoot! Now why could it not have been 18!

They played in other Star channels, too

 

They played it in Star Plus, Channel [V] (India), Star One and even Star News So, the promotion mill is running in full swing here

 

It can also be called ANDHC promotion Part 2 But this is soooo much better

 

The last time there was any contest for a Celine concert was in 1998 or 1999 for the LTAL tour when LTAL and MHWGO was HUGE here

I got two piece of info for the fans from India in particular and all Celine fans in general.

 

This is just a reminder to the fans from India that the contest on www.indya.com/celine and www.star.com/celine had ended on 1st of Dec and the judges have found the winners (got the news from an insider) and the total number of contestants eligible crossed a whopping 100,000 and almost 500,000 people had applied for it online and through sms voting systems.

 

This just shows how much Celine is popular in India.

 

The results are gonna be declared sometime tomorrow, so be ready to have the phone whose number you gave to cast your vote near you.

In other news, "Taking Chances" has been flying off shelves in almost all the stores in the 6 metro cities and an unprecedented number of sales has been reported especially from the Southern and Eastern part of India (due to the special offer of limited 'Taking Chances' posters). It is also reported that the album may acquire GOLD certification before her world tour takes off in February
