Firstly, I think these photos are "raw" ones, without any Photoshop miracles. They are not the promotion pictures which are very sophisticated. This is reality.

Secondly, compared to 39 year old everyday women I think she is in a very good shape and the wrinkles give her a natural look.

Thirdly, if she decided not to follow the rules of today's show industry and to age naturally, we have to respect that. If she had her face improved by plastic surgery or Botox etc., then other's would start to ask why her boobs are not done and if she had them done then there would always be again another part of her body to criticise. Once you start it it is hard to stop.

Oh my Gosh!! You guys! Oh my gosh!! Maybe it's just my eye for photography, but this is literally and officially my most favorite photoshoot EVER!! WOW! I can't explain how amazing I think it is!! Celine looks natural, the lighting is great, and the setting is the most incredible!! Totally Celine's best shoot ever over the past years! And dear I say it... but I even think this shoot is better than the shoot for ANDHC!! It's rare shoots that are just out of this world and unbelievably amazing that make me want to become a photographer! I'm not sure what this heck it is, but this shoot is just incredible!!

 

...I wanna make a wallpaper with it, but I'm too afraid to touch it... it's just so perfect!! Thanks a hundred million-billion for posting!!

I think most of you are aware that Celine has always looked a little older than she is, maybe it's her bone structure. She is in great shape though, most mothers of her age don't have the figure she has. But her body is great, her eyes sparkle, and she is still a very elegant and attractive lady. Most of my friends here in the UK think she looks younger now than she did years ago, they all agree she looked awesome on X factor! Yes, she has lines, but I think that's more to do with her being a die-hard sun worshipper and living in extremely arrid Las Vegas for the last few years. Not to mention the stress of loosing family members, illness and running round after her gorgeous little boy!

 

I hope she doesn't go plastic, she looks lovely, not perfect, but who is? Perfection is not human, she's already phenominal enough!

yah i agree. they don't look very happy in these pictures. actually i noticed they havent looked very happy in any of the recent pictures i've seen on them. i think we are used to seeing them have this amazing chemistry and body language, and it just hasn't been there lately

I think sometimes photoshopping looks too obvious, too "fake". People know that there are no 39 year olds who have skin the way that it looks photoshopped.

 

If you watch Celine on Oprah, had not a wrinkle or a bag, even with closeups. I think it probably has to do with the makeup. I do agree, when she looks the way she did on Oprah and the D'Elles special, she does look younger now than she did years ago.

 

She is sending a very important message by not having injections and procedures done, and instead leaving her face alone. You know as well as I that when some people start messing around they end up looking worse, then people criticize them for having the surgery in the first place. Celine should do what she's been doing, leave herself alone.

I got the feeling right away as well that there was a spark missing from her. It doesn't seem that she's just trying for a mood look either, it seems more like she's unhappy or even angry. I would be so very sad if there is something going wrong in their relationship. It is the love story of her and Rene and the passion that she carried around for him that I hear in her songs and what makes them penetrate my soul. It would be the ultimate heartbreak if Rene is not treating her right. I hope we're all wrong!!
