I don't think Alicia Keys deserves to have more first week sales than Celine. I'd understand if Celine had a horrible album out, but that's not the case. Taking Chances is a VERY solid pop/rock album and the Grammy's it is gonna win will prove that. Here are how many copies Celine and Alicia's CDs are expected to sell, according to Perez. "The numbers are in! Both Celine Dion and Alicia Keys released new albums this week. And while they didn’t come into it with any of the Kanye/50 hype, both are expected to sell very well. Only one will take the #1 spot, though. No One is expected to sell about 550,000 copies, music biz peeps tell PerezHilton.com. Now... we are selling AK for $9.99 and CD for $11.99 and Target has CD for $9.99 so I'm sure they are selling more than us... but I sure would like to see Celine to well with this CD!!!! Greg

Taking Chances is planned to stay around for at least a year on the charts, though. With 5 singles to be released and the world tour announced, chances are it will hold its ground in the pop arena.
