world tour may be her last - as she wants to concentrate on motherhood. The Think Twice singer already has one child, six-year-old Rene Charlies with husband Rene Angelil, but is keen to add to her family. Dion insists any baby-making plans will have to wait until the end of her Taking Chances tour, which will see the singer perform over 100 dates in 85 cities. She says, "If I had a child now I'd never want to go back on the road again." Dion's tour begins on 14 February (08) and finishes in January 2009.

Yeah you can't go by all these rumors, although I would not be surprised if she said that. I DO think that when this tour is over she will definitely not be doing anything like a tour or album for awhile. You know she's not going to do any long term Vegas thing again, although it would be nice if at some point she played some shows at Caesars again.

 

Hey she's EARNED her time off. I actually want her to take a longer break. I think if she took some more years off and decided to come back it would great because she might do something totally different. But that being said, I could see her being extremely content raising her family.

It might be a while before she does a world tour again, but I'm sure she'll continue recording albums and doing some week gigs at places like the Olympia Theatre.

 

She and Rene know she's at her peak, and they know what she means to her fans.

Oh, they don't know for sure. And we can't know.

It's depends with what will be in the future of Celine. Celine herself can't know what will be and they don't say it from any confirm info.

The idiots took a quote she said out of context and made it a story that doesnt exist.

 

She said it about her feelings as to why she's waiting to have her next child until after the tour:

"If I had a child now I'd never want to go back on the road again."

 

Anyway, she has no idea what shes going to do after the tour. She made that clear on the New Day DVD when she said she actually wanted to back out of the deal.

Sure, after this massive tour, it would be best for her to stay put for a good while. It'd be nice if she performed several shows here and there every once in awhile. I don't think Celine will ever completely step out of the limelight...

 

She may take breaks here and there. It's like when she left on new year's eve of 1999. No one knew when, or even if she was going to return. It's just that Vegas has been so much work and now the tour, Celine just needs a good break. She needs to empty her brain and start again like how she did in 2002.

 

And plus... this is a rumor. We should never consider rumors or ever fall into their traps.

But even if it should be the last tour and even if it would really make me sad... I would never call Céline "selfish" like Taking_Chances does!!! What a bull**t!!! It's her life and it's up to her to decide and what's selfish about leading her life the way she wants it to be?!!

Celine was so long in Vegas and NOW she says she will take a tour to get in touch with her fans worldwide, you see in fact that she's powerful but a little stressed from all that promotion "Taking Chances", why should a woman that has a family, money, success, do such stressing stuff like promoting and touring when she really wants to quit singing after all that?

 

Here in germany we say "nicht der Mühe wert" that means that this is not worth the trouble.

 

My opinion is, that she will take again a break after the tour and after that, she may have a surprise for us, like whitney houston style, a movie for example in "Preachers Wife" style (I missing Celine in movies, after Madonna, Cher, Whitney Barbra and Tina did some )

 

 

And even if Celine says, she quits, I think she won't... there will ever be events that need such big singers and once on a stage, you will ever need it a little bit in your life and only if there will be benefits or some specials in madison square garden
