Well i can't believe it!!

 

Over the past few nights the BBC have aired a program called the worst 100 pop songs

 

and......

 

they placed 'My heart will go on' as the worst ever!!!

 

How dare they!!

 

Its a fantastic song!!!!

 

They had a panel of mildly known people (comedians, dj's etc...) saying what they thought of each track and although most were saying how they agreed with the placings one bloke (can't remember his name!) really stuck up for Celine and the song!!

This is old news, people just don't have any good taste in music! We all know that "My Heart Will Go On" is a terrific song.

I think, most ppl wil agree that it is a great song, however i think ppl got fed up of it.. as it was played like every 2 seconds so people dont even think how good it was. just how much they heard it and how they couldnt esacpe from it and the whole titanic thing.. xx

I think it's actually a great song itself... but due to its excessive radio airplay, it makes people tired of it. I'm tired of it. It wouldn't bother me if Celine dropped that song for awhile.

I totally agree. You know, I have compliled my own Top 100 singles chart week after week since 1987, and "My Heart Will Go On" has the record for the longest stay at number 1 with 23 weeks, but today I'm soooo tired of it that I wouldn't mind if Celine did not sing it for a while. We all know it's probably impossible, as it's her signature song. I know that so many people who loved that song ten years ago hate it nowadays, but it's awful that it was considered the worst pop song.

BBS makes money on dissing Celine... No big deal! People know who great a song it was when it came out, but it got played so much that people like to make nasty comments about Celine. It just shows you that Celine is on top of everyone's mind, either good or bad... But it's still publicity!

this was on ages ago 1st and i was appaulled! even the people i was watching it were - and quite a few of them on the actual show were questioning why it was there! I was like - at least they're sticking up for it.

okay its not my favourite celine song!!
