karatedude317 Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:29 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:29 PM I didn't think anyone would see this among the 300 pages in the official topic, but I was wondering if anyone bought their CD from Walmart with the recording sessions on it, and if so, if it was worth it, how long it was, and what songs were shown? Thanks so much for your responses!
keny Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:37 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:37 PM I just bought it at lunchtime for $13.88 with the CD. I have not reviewed the DVD yet. I will let you know.
Clari Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:42 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:42 PM I have no energy (blame it on work LOL) so I'm going to be lazy... what's the difference between the Walmart DVD version and the regular CD/DVD?? Are they the same? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/CelineSmiles/hamster.gif CLARiSSA Xxx... "Music touches every sense. It can move you to tears, bring joy to your heart, stir sexual passion, evoke memories, and prompt physical responses of all kinds." -Benoît Jutras
xo1hrt4celineox Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:56 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 09:56 PM (edited) though I have not watched it yet, the Walmart DVD lists the features as: "40 minutes of "Behind-the-Scenes" making of the album. Included are 6 songs with interviews by Celine, songwriters, producers and Celine's vocal performances, in addition to the candid moments during the month long recording process" the songs listed on the back of the DVD are: That's Just the Woman in Me. Alone, Eyes on Me, A Song for You, Surprise Surprise, and A World to Believe Inlike I said, I haven't watched it, but it sounds like the same disc included in the CD/DVD edition. It's labeled a "Walmart Exclusive" but perhaps that just becasue of the packaging? It comes in a box with a the CD in a foldable slip case and the DVD in its own case. Hope this helps a little... Alex_Incognito Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:00 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:00 PM Damn all of the digipacks to hell. Digipacks are SOOO cheap looking and wear easily! The DVD is the same as the 40-min video that was shown from the China Celine site. The whole thing is in a blue box (with an awful bowling-alley shade of blue). The DVD is housed in a standard case, while the CD is simply the regular digipack edition of the album. "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

karatedude317 Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:15 PM Author Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:15 PM WOW your responses are soooo helpful!!!! Thanks! I"m going to Walmart TONIGHT and getting this! The difference between this DVD from Walmart and the other DVD, is the other DVD is clips from AND. Do you want that, or would you rather have the recording sessions? IF you're already seen them on here, u may not want that, but since I have someone in my family who doesn't have a computer, I'm getting this so that they can see it!
maykonprincess Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:17 PM Posted November 13, 2007 at 10:17 PM I bought the digital pack from Walmart - it has recording footage from That's Just The Woman In Me, Alone, Eyes on Me, A Song For You, Surprise Surprise, and A World To Believe In. It's running time is 40:31.
