Will Call?

I have only 50 minutes before I can buy my tickets to Dubai and Doha.

 

well, I do not know if I can choose between the will call tickets or the the tickets that they can send them for me.

 

Do u have any idea about the difference, the best, and whether I can choose?

Well, if you order tickets through TeamCeline, there is no other option but Will-Call so you can't choose anything else.

 

But if you are buying them in presale for general public and they give you more options... hmm...

 

In one hand I think Will-Call is better, because that the tickets won't get lost anywhere and can't get stolen from you and will be waiting safe for you at the venue and you can pick them up there on the concert day.

 

But in the other hand, if it should happen that you can't go to the concert because of some important reasons than it's better if you got tickets at home already because you can give or sell the to eomeone else who can go so they still can be used.

 

If you choose Will-Call it must be you and only you who pick them up because you need to show the credit card you used to pay for them and also photo ID and (if it's via TeamCeline) you als need to have your TeamCeline membership card with you and the printout of the order confirmation e-mail they'll send you after you order tickets.

 

So in my opinion there is no "good" and "wrong" choice - you have to decide for yourself about this.

I am afraid coz I have just become a member of teamceline, so I am afraid that the membership card will delay.

OH, so you are buying the tickets throught TeamCeline?

Than you'll have to pick up the tickets at the venue on the show day - TeamCeline doesn't give other option but Will-Call.

 

What seats have you get?

 

About the membership card: if you just became a member, it may took some time for delivery, I think they are saying 4-6 months. I don't get it why they send them with surface mail which is sooo slow and in case of just the welcome kit, it would be not much more expansive to send them by airmail which is waaay faster!

 

But when I got my card and welcome gift, it took like 2 weeks for delivery, if I remember well.

 

And I'm sure you will get the card on time before the shows!

they say it takes up to ten weeks max to get the member ship card. mine came after 2-3 weeks no worries! you will get it in time. the concerts are months away:)

Actually a stupid method by you can call customer service and have many other delivery options now and avoid standing in line the day of the concert.

@ abadi: Are you 100% sure you can get your TeamCeline tickets delivered per mail??!!

 

I would love to get my tickets delivered per mail to but just today I received a news mail from TeamCeline again and one of it's section was as following:

 

 

World Tour TeamCeline Ticket Pick-Up Policy

 

TeamCeline tickets for the Taking Chances 2008-2009 World Tour will be held at the venue will call for pick-up on the day of the performance. TeamCeline members must present all of the following items to claim their tickets: TeamCeline membership card (or proof of TeamCeline membership), a photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Ticket orders will not be mailed out and the Ticket Fast Print at home tickets option will not be available for TeamCeline tickets.

 

THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY

 

If you have not received your TeamCeline membership card, you can present a print out of your "Your TeamCeline" page as proof of your membership to TeamCeline. To obtain a copy of your proof of membership, log in to TeamCeline and click on "Your TeamCeline", and print out the page.

 

 

So what's true and what's not true???

As I don't know if I can call them to send me my tickets or it will be just waste of my money??....

i purchased my tickets via ticketmaster as a team celine member being that it was a presale they were only offering will call but after it had gone on general sale i noticed they were offering other options. So i made a call to ticketmaster and actually had the tickets emailed to me for an extra 2.50

So probably it works for TeamCeline tickets bought via Ticketmaster but my tickets for Germany and Vienna were bought via TeamCeline site (Music Today) so I'm afraid there is no way to get them shipped to me...

they can be mailed as well but email is best you cannot lose the tickets and can print the whenever and as many tims as you want

Based on what was noted on this thread, I called my local Ticketmaster in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and was told that the ONLY possible way to pick up my TeamCeline ticket was on the day of the show at the Box Office.

 

Are you guys sure I can ask them to mail or email the ticket? Should I call back & demand a different delivery option?? My mom paid for my ticket with her credit card, and though she doesn't mind coming for a visit next October, if anything happens and she can't make it here from Montreal (5 hour flight), what the heck will I do??

easy, get a Power of Attorney signed. I don't think they can say anything if you show up with a valid Power of Attorney that will allow you to act on your mother's behalf for all matters legally.

Wow...a Power of Attorney seems like quite a steep step to take. I'll keep trying to bug Ticketmaster for the next few months and hope they budge. My mother has every intention of getting here, so I'll keep the faith.

I talked to my sister about tickets and she advised against using Will Call because my brother in law won tickets in a contest to a show and had to do the Will call thing and when he went to pick up the tickets at the ticket office they didn't have them and he had to pay for tickets and be repaid by the ticket office,I'm going to the sept 22nd show in Ohio and we are having the tickets mailed to us within 48 hours of the show its free and they will email us when the tickets are printed and about to be shipped to us so we know when to expect them.

Well, as for TeamCeline tickets there is simply no other possibility to get the tickets but Will Call.... So we just have to hope they will have the tickets for us there, hehe at the box offices...

do not worry. im getting there early on the day of the concert for sure. for one, not to stand in huge will call line, and to relaaaax before the concert with nice dinner at restaurant at the O2!
