Hi, I have booked Section 102, Row 15, Seat 1. My partner is already coming with me to see Celine in Vegas on December 7th and she doesn't exactly share my extreme passion for Celine, so...I'm going on my own. I would love to organize a dinner for excited fans if anyone is interested.

Hey! you going to that show? i probably am too!! but wont be able to meet i have to come there from Calgary, and ill have started college by then so most likely i wont get there til the show starts or slightly before... which if so i will make my way to a hotel to get settled.

I'll be coming from Calgary too. And as far as college goes, I just finished a program at Mount Royal. Unless you have a midterm that day, you should be ok if you skip a class especially if you talk to the teachers well beforehand and make sure to get any handouts, etc that you might miss.

 

If you don't want to meet that's ok, but I thought it would be really nice to meet other Celine fans and really make the night meaningful.

Oh really? thats cool! i'll be going to SAIT.. and i never even thought about mid terms i'll be screwed if i do have any . lol and we may be able to meet but if i do go to class that day we probably wont, plus i will be with my sister and mom so they would have a say in it (i know this isn't a dangerous site but they don't) but i also think it would be fun to meet before the show

It's always a good idea to be wary and careful, so good on ya. I sent you a PM to let you know a little about me. Hopefully, we'll get more people who post on here and decide to meet up. I'm determined to make my Celine day a very special one, so I'll keep trying. Afterall, we have almost a whole year to make it happen.

So I've met quite a few of you from around the world in Paris and in Montreal. I am a Canadian woman living in Calgary, Alberta and I want to know where all the western Canadians are? Are there any on this forum? If so, let's start to get excited about our turn for Celine out here.

 

I have a feeling that there may not be many people from abroad coming to Edmonton for these concerts, but I may be wrong. Is there anyone planning to come from afar?

 

No matter what, I hope to get a dinner or something organized...as per usual, so please let yourself be heard if you would like to be a part of it and if you exist on this forum.

 

AND, one more thing. Is there anyone with extra tickets for either date? I've infected everyone at work with Celine excitement and so now some of them are looking for tickets. If you can help, please PM me.

i've been so tied up at school i just realized that shes coming in almost 2 weeks!!!

 

i couldn't even take the time off to drive down a day before, as important as Celine is to me... school is my first priority right now, haha so i can buy more tickets and travel in the future for her!! i will be driving in Saturday morning and catching the show that night. i may go to the airport right after and hope to catch her there for an autograph. if you don't mind, shesings2me, let me know if you have any luck meeting her or getting an autograph so i can take a shot too!

CELINE LEFT HER HOTEL IN VANCOUVER AT 8PM FOR THE AIRPORT, WE SAW THEM DRIVE PAST US ON THE WAY TO THE AIRPORT!! RC WAS WITH THEM SO HE NOT IN VEGAS!

She just arrived a little while ago...at 11:16pm. Too bad I'm still in Calgary and not in Edmonton. I may have to wait for my kids to finish school tomorrow so I may not make it to Edmonton in time to linger around before the show. However my boys have been talking about staying home so I may just get there early after all. I'll also try after the show too. I'm going to start doing my research tonight to find out what hotel she's staying at so I can stake it out as well.

 

It turns out that I won't be seeing the show after all. I'm still going to Edmonton to pick up my TeamCeline ticket and to take my mom (who's visiting me in Calgary from Montreal) to visit my aunt and cousins there, however my ticket is now going to a work friend who badly wanted to attend. We also found her some tickets on Ebay so she could take her sister and partner as well. But that won't hold me back from being a friendly stalker. I'm going to convince my mom to come with me to try to find her, and then I'll reward mom with a visit to the West Edmonton Mall (it was the largest mall in North America at one time...not sure if it still is)! We'll also try after the show as well. Wish us luck!

 

Racie, I'll still try to find Gerrard for you, and if I don't I'll try again in Winnipeg.

Ok peeps, I'm 99.9% sure that Celine is staying at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. The Queen of England stays there when she's in town, so we know that has to be the one for our beautiful, classy lady. Besides, I did some sneeky detective work and so that's why I'm so sure now. Oh baby, Celine here I come; let's just hope all the stars are aligning for me!!

OOOOH I wish i was at tonights show!!! Im so excited for tomorrow!!! I really wanted to try and meet her but i doubt i'll have the chance . i wonder if she will be at the hotel by the time i get there tomorrow (driving in from Calgary, as well) If not im gonna try to catch her at the arena before the show. damn i don't even have a hotel yet, gotta print off my ticketmaster receipt, get packed.... What do i wear?? lol is jeans and a casual top alright? or should i go for something a little fancier? oh an di know it says no cameras... who has had luck taking pictures? not sure if i should take my really good quality cam which is a little bigger, a pocket P&S or nothing at all.

 

Shesings2me, I'm sorry you couldn't make it to the show . but i'm sure that will increase your chances of meeting her as you wont be rushing in/out of the arena... more time to find her!! Let me know if you get anything, and let me know if you have any clues where i can find her!! I to would like an autograph and will try to catch her before the show... i just don't know exactly where. Oh and do you know of any nice hotels near the Rexall Place that i could stay? i don't know my way around Edmonton...

Sorry folks but my day/night was a complete flop in the Celine department, and completely and totally my fault. Ok, maybe my ex had something to do with it too, but I should have known better. I won't get into the details 'cause they're ugly but because of certain circumstances I got to Edmonton just a tad too late to see her leave the hotel, and then I spent 3 hours trying to hook up with the friend I sold my ticket to. I had an obligation to see my aunt (we lost my dad this year, her brother, and we also lost my uncle, her husband, as well as my aunt, her sister) and so it was important that family come first and that we support each other through some of the grief. And after the visit, instead of settling into our hotel and prepping for post show Celine stalking,(here's where the ex came in to make trouble) we had to return to Calgary ASAP.

 

I think I may have been the only friggin' fan there; I would have had her for myself...oh my friggin' lord I can't believe how much things aren't going my way in the Celine department. But I'm somehow still taking it in stride. I believe it's meant to be and so I'm just trying to chill about it. If I didn't I think I'd go absolutely mad!!

 

Just a little info to give me some hope and maybe give you cheerleaders some hope too, here's my ticket info for Winnipeg: ...remember Celine's lucky number...here it goes....so I'm sitting in Section 105, Row 5, Seat 15. Have the stars aligned for my Celine encounter....hmmmm...here's hoping!!

Linah, get to the hotel by 3:30-4pm and try waiting somewhere near the front entrance. If you don't want to be obvious right away maybe just walk nearby but keep an eye on the activity. There will be a few vehicles including her SUV (if things have remained the same as other venues recently) out front. When it looks promising then move in for the encounter. If you are not comfortable with that, then the entrance to Rexall Place where Celine's vehicle will enter is on the East side of Rexall Place and at the South end (on Wayne Gretzky Drive South). There's a parking lot on that East side. There are attendants there, but just tell them that you are picking up tickets and the box office and then leaving. They will let you go in and park there. We went in to pick up the TeamCeline ticket, but because we had to meet my friend there we just stayed in our parking spot. The attendants got too busy to notice and so I'm sure the same will happen to you. Leave your car and walk just a little south from there. You will see the fenced in area with all the trucks. At the end of the fence closest to the street you will see a guard standing there. Linger around there and when you see a fancy, dark SUV coming that should be her. Everyone else showing up in fancy cars are being dropped off close to the entrance near the box office, so I doubt there will be any other fancy vehicles going into the fenced in area.

Good luck, don't be intimidated, go for it and don't be shy. Ask for her to stop for a minute. Nick should be in the front seat (big bald bodyguard) so even beg him if you have to. GOOD LUCK & ENJOY your time with Celine.
