teamceline membership kit?

has anybody else signed up for the teamceline fanclub? ( I did so that I could get presale tickets)

if so, do you know what comes in the membership kit?

I got a pad of paper and pen. I also got two pictures of Celine and one had her signature(not real though, totally printed on). And of course my membership card.

for $40, you'd expect something more...

I'm happy that I got presale so its worth it but forty bucks for a pad of paper and pen is a rip off.

i renewed once and got some stupid zipper pencil case that had "www.celinedion.com" printed on it...and i renewed again when they posted the TAKING CHANCES album cover so that I could see it, and I haven't received jack sh*t for this past renewal

They used to send cooler stuff than they do now, (if anything at all)...they used to send me stuff like every 2 months, but that is a thing of the past now! All I got was some zipper make-up bag that had the Celine logo on it...and I think a post card...that's it. :confused:

When I signed up last year I got the nylon zip-up case, Black with the address for the official web site printed on it, it's the kind of thing you could use for make-up or pens/pensils. I also got two postcards of Celine, one standard size and one quite large, and my membership card.

I let my membership run out and on the 12th September I joined the fan club again, I have not received anything yet. But, from what I've heard, it's early days, as most people have found it takes at least 8 weeks for anything to come through. I suppose when you run the fanclub of the biggest selling female artist on the planet, I guess that makes you kinda busy!

When you renew your membership after the previous one exprires, you won't receive anything...

Only if you join TeamCeline with other e-mail address etc. than you are a new member and may receive some cheap stuff, LOL!

Really, that's a shame those "gifts"... LOL

I know it was waaaay better in the 90s and even at the beginning of 2000s, alas...

... but if you renew before it expires you have the choice of a wonderful CD visor or some photos/postcards. I've just received my renewal gift 2 months after renewing - well worth the wait .....

In my opinion the CD visor looks quite cheap... I prefer the stuff they add for those who preordered "TC".

Anyway, I still have old catalogues from the times when it was just Celine Dion fanclub and not TeamCeline and they got more great stuff there... I miss them in the boutique...

Too bad the LV Boutique stuff isn't awailable online...

I Renew my membership before it expires in June. 5 months passed and I didn't got my gift.

I even don't remember what the gift is.

Are you kidding me? It looks so cheap. The photos look so much better. Everyone should choose the photos instead of the CD visor.

I can't remember what I received when I first joined, but they used to send little gifts out-of-the-blue. Christmas cards too. It felt as if you were part of a special club (unlike now) and they appreciated you (or seemed to).

I renewed my membership in september, but 3 months after my first membership ended.

And i didn't receive my gifts and it was 2 months ago :evil: :evil:

WHat is it happening to them ??

When I signed up for the second time, I did let my previous membership lapse, but I also signed up with a new email address, so I may get something, I think it would be a little bit unfair if I didn't!

It's been a little bit pointless me signing up so far, I did it mainly for the concert presale, but as I was unable to see what seats were available (no diagrams at the concert venues as it was a presale and the seating chart was unavailable) I didn't purchase any. I know from past experience with the venues listed that it doesn't really pay to be at the front, as you lose some of the benefit of the lighting etc. Oh well.

The other main attraction for members has been the listening party for the new album, which is no good for me, as I don't want to listen to it until I have the CD. There are video files, but I can't seem to get them to play on my PC! I also don't seem to have received all the emails that other people have, which is a little frustrating.

Yeh, so, I'm kinda still trying to work out exactly what I'm paying for, but never mind...
