Heidi and I got a little screwed on tickets for this show (they went on sale a DAY early and so we didn't know about it)... but our seats are decent. This is where we'll be unless we get better ones:

 

Floor, Section 2, Row 13, Seats 13-14.

Hi! I'm going to be there, too. I couldn't afford the $100+ tickets, though. I'm in like Section 6a or 6b (I couldn't buy my tickets until 3 days after they went on sale because I heard just before they went on sale and I didn't get my pay check until 3 days after they went on sale). This will be my first Céline Dion concert.

Anyway, I just wanted to "reinvigorate" this thread. I know that Tacoma isn't the most popular stop on the tour, but it's fast-approaching and I'm excited!

 

Is anyone else out there going to this show?

is there anyone from the tacoma area who can advise me of where the best place is to park for the concert,at the dome or elsewhere?? and am i crazy driving from vancouver and backin the same day?? not sure whether to stay over in tacoma or not yet??

Hmm... not sure. :/ We're actually near the Seattle area, so I'm relatively new to Tacoma as well. I imagine we're going to TRY to park at the dome.

I got two nights at the La Quinta Inn, which isn't too far from the Tacoma Dome. I got a room for $65/night through Hotwire. I'll be getting there Friday sometime, and leaving Sunday morning. As far as parking goes -- I don't know. I haven't lived in Tacoma in 11 years. I'm taking the bus from Aberdeen, Washington to Tacoma, and then back, and may be bringing my bicycle with me, so I can get around Tacoma. The buses run pretty regularly during the day, but they quit before midnight, and I wanted to go out Friday night. lol

 

Oh yeah, re-checked my ticket, I'm in Section 6B, Row 9

hey i got seats in sec 18a row 17 me and my best friend are going enyone else here seeing that show ?. I think we got really good seats because the part of the stage that goes into the center section is right next to ours , im thinking because were row 17 of 45 lower sec we will be really close !

Ok my beautiful Celine peeps, with the help of a family member (and Airmiles for a flight to Vancouver) I bought the Hot Sound Package and will be coming to Seattle/Tacoma. Because I'm normally a semi-poor Celine fan and I will also need bus fare to/from Vancouver, I was wondering if anyone was willing to share a room for the night of the 18th? I'll be leaving on the 19th to bus back to Vancouver for my flight back to Calgary on the 20th and I can stay with family there that night.

 

Also, who would like to meet after the concert for drinks and to share post Celine excitement chat?! I've taken part/organised fan meet & greets in Paris and in Montreal and would hate to miss out on meeting you familiar folks in person this time as well. I get into downtown Seattle at approx 12 noon on the 18th so meeting for lunch would be great too if anyone's up for it. I'm excited for all of this and I might have to cancel my other Celine dates because of it, so please meet up if you can.

Yay Tracy!!! First of all, thanks for getting rid of my urge to buy that hot sound package.

 

Good luck with coordinating all of the details surrounding getting here, etc. Since I live here (well, outside of Seattle), I won't have a hotel room for you. Hopefully someone can step up.

 

I might be able to meet up for a Seattle lunch... I'll let you know.

good luck getting to tacoma by noon first you have to get through the border last sat it was 3 hr line ups then its a 2 hr 55 min drive from the border to tacoma if the traffic isa good through seattle so it will take a bit longer to get there than you think.

Hi! I'm getting to Tacoma Friday evening, and staying at the LaQuinta Inn. I don't know if I have a room with one or two beds. lol I think I accidentally put in the reservation that there will be two adults in the room. lol so who knows.

 

I'm also in section 6B Row 9 Seat 17. I'm also a poor fan (apparently a lot more poor than everyone else). LOL The only reason I have the room at LaQuinta is that I made the reservations after my Income Tax Refund last February, and I made reservations through Hotwire. lol

 

I'd like to meet up with you all, though. The room is available for crashers if it's needed. I'll have to see if there's a place nearby that has karaoke. lol (I love to sing, too). Anyways, I'll have my cell phone with me, if anyone would like to call, send me a PM and I'll share it.
