First of all Britney CAN'T sing. With her first albums she at least tried to sing but she doesn't even do that anymore. I listen to artists like Enya who does anything but scream. Celine doesn't scream for the most part except maybe "The Women In Me" and even so there's still a note she's hitting.

 

I don't read trashy magazines infact I don't even look at the covers when passing them in the store. It's common sense to know someone who stays up all hours of the night partying and goes crazy and shaves her head who can't even take care of herself certainly can't take care of her kids.

 

Sure Britney COULD dance. But that's past tense. She has lost that now.

 

In your defense of Britney you managed to make asinine comments about Celine's fans and are delighted when Celine loses. Many would consider that as you being more of a Britney lover.

 

Britney screwed herself along time ago not just recently. You do realize that most of the people that bought her album probably just did it out of curiosity and are probably kicking themselves now for buying it. That's what happened to me with her last album "In The Zone". I was hoping and praying there would be something really good but I only found 3 songs okay. When Britney sings live (which is extremely rare) she never has that "WOW" factor that Celine has when se sings live. I remember watching a Britney performance and she was lip syncing as usual but I kept hearing an awful voice singing along. It was Britney singing with the recording. Again, you're speaking for yourself with that 'wow' factor. But nevertheless, let me explain a little something to you. You sure need a lot of explanations, that's not a good sign, my dear. Anywayz, Celine Dion is a vocalist. A vocalist is an artist who base her career and her reputation on his or her voice. Britney Spears is a foremost a performer, which means in the world of music, that she performs on stage by dancing, etc. So what happens when a vocalist uses playback to sing? Keep in mind that's the only thing a vocalist does, use the voice. What happens when they use playback in concerts and so on? You getting it? Britney Spears may use playback when she performs but that's because she's dancing like crazy on stage and that's the WOW factor. You may not like it, but the world clearly does. Critics as well. And as you said, when she sings slower songs, she sings live, so basically she does much much more than a vocalist on stage.

 

So, my dear, when Britney doesn't do a dance really well (especially with a broken heel, etc, but I'm sure you actually knew that right? Oh, yeah, that's right, I forgot, you don't really care for objective point of views, sorry), it's not the end of the world. But when a vocalist who people pay to HEAR him or her sing uses playback, that's even worse. Much worse. You can tell me how a vocalist has wowed the audiences in the past with the voice, has amazing the voice sounds, but the downside of being a vocalist, it's the NOW that counts.

So I have every right to be here just like any of you. Just because I don't follow the 'majority' on here doesn't mean I like Celine any less than any of you.

 

I never start a 'Britney/Celine' fight, it's dj4celine, speedy, among others who ALWAYS bring her up for no reason at all. I am NOT expecting everybody to like her or her music, but what I DO expect is a minimum of RESPECT towards other artists, not only Britney, on this forum. I find it strange that the mods allow such BASHING when it's in the rules than you're NOT allowed to do that.

 

Celine would be so ashamed seeing such behaviour coming from her 'fans' when she is the nicest person in the world and actually "loves" Britney, so by logical deduction, you're calling her "stupid". Way to go, 'fans'!

 

Now why in the world did my name pop-up here?? What comment did I say that was against Britney or whoever???
