Pop superstar CELINE DION has been criticised for miming throughout a performance on a British TV show - created to celebrate her career. The My Heart Will Go On singer, 39, decided against singing live on the star-studded programme An Audience With Celine Dion, while guest performers - including Sir Elton John and Kylie Minogue - preferred not to mime. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "It didn't wash with the audience, as it was clear she was miming. She should have taken a tip from one of her biggest hits - and thought twice." An Audience With Celine Dion will be aired in the U.K. this Christmas (07).

hmmm I wonder waht's happened that she didn't sing life. As we all already discussed it after Divas.

It couldn't be becouse of X-Factor...Poor Celine, first time in UK and criticised already

Well, she would have been criticised for singing, too, because it was obvious that she was having vocal difficulties with her X Factor performance.

It's true, someone who is supposed to be one of the greatest singers of all time should be able to sing live. A lot of people at the show were offended she didint sing live. I dont know the reason why, but this was deffinitely the wrong move. She was in the UK for a week and did one live performance. Shame on you Celine, shame on you. It's your own fault if you get bad press for not singing live, you dont deserve any good press in that respect. She even mimes at A New Day. Get your act together Celine, sort your voice out or just let it be, people dont want to waste their time seeing you mime. I personally loved the show, but a lot of people were mad.

News like this can carry on for a while. She needs to know that in order to be in top shape for the world tour, she needs to be able to sing live

hmmm that's truth a bit, tickets in LV specially first rows costs small fortune. Maybe she cant sing couse Rene - Charles is misbehaving and she needs to shout at him heheh

..this is the way i see it..

Celine has had many many commitments since leaving las Vegas (with more to follow)

and has honoured them all .

Global travel, multiple interviews, mentoring and preforming,bilingual speeches, to name but a few are a lot to contend with ,for any human body,and being a guest on estranged shows,

has new & additional stresses no doubt...i'd collapse!

 

The 1 thing that Celine can hold in reserve and still keep her schedule is her singing.

 

i feel her schedule is too packed & i just hope she continues to mind herself.

 

On world tour, It is Celine's own show and the focus is singular..performing.

She'll be right!
