Céline should be at 'Mooi weer De Leeuw' (Dutch tv)

There is something I would like to share with you guys! Here in Holland we have a tv-show called 'Mooi weer De Leeuw', which is presented by Paul de Leeuw. It is a crazy show, people can send in wishes and they make some wishes come true. Most of the time these are crazy and funny wishes. It is one of the best viewed (or I think THE best viewed) shows in the weekend. Paul is a man that can be very edgy with his jokes but I think he is refreshing as well. And he has got his heart at the right place. For instance: he is the only interviewer I know that deals with handicapted people or people with the Down syndrom in a very good way. He does not talk to them like they are children, he jokes around with them but in a very respectful way. You can see these people love him for that, and they are so right! And besides that he has a great voice and I do remember he did once sing a French song of Céline in Dutch. He must like her as well!

 

They do have artists performing in this show as well and I can tell you, succes will be guaranteed when you are in this show. You can be sure a lot of people will see you. And the interviews are hilarious! You can see the artists as they really are: some of them dont have a clue what to say or do, others start joking around as well and show a different side of themselves. This show would suit Céline SO well! Now this is my problem: I did e-mail them to ask if they could try to get Céline in their show. I did not hear from them, so I looked up Paul at the Dutch Hyves-site last week and I sent him a message. I did not think he would respond, but that same day he answered me. And guess what? They did apply for Céline to come in their show about 2 months ago, but he thinks that unfortunately it will not be worked out. Can you believe this? It is THE BEST way for Céline to do promotion here in Holland. Succes guaranteed! The show is also broadcast in foreign countries through a channel for Dutch people who live abroad. I know even people from Australia watch it! And there is a big advantage in this for us as well. It will be the best interview we have seen with her in years. Not about picking tomatos or how she wants to be a better mother than a singer. No, the old Céline, the funny Céline, reacting on whats happening, being herself, not a programmed person. I am so sure she would love this as well! And finally people will see she is not boring, she does not only sing ballads and she has a great sense of humour... It could be SO great... And the good thing is, they do broadcast this show on the internet as well!

You are so right about this Laura, she should be in this show.

It is a great show, it is funny and you see the artist like they really are.

It is the best show for promotion, like you said.

Such a pity she is not coming in this show.

Should be indeed so good for her.

So good you emailed Paul de Leeuw to ask him about it.

But who of her management is making the choices for her, of did she choose herself which shows

she will visit??

Yeah she should. Though Sony already decided quite a while ago to get her on that show IF she would go to Holland. But she isn't for the moment.. hopefully when she's here for her tour! Edited November 3, 2007 at 04:08 PM by CSCfan

I am sure it would work! Paul likes Céline and Céline loves to joke around. I think it would be a relief for her. Finally an interviewer that jokes around with her. Not a boring one like for example Ivo Niehe...
