Yeah it's quite different from the rest of the album. I think Map to My Heart would have fit much better on the actual album and then had this song as a B side or something. Let Me Be Your Soldier might have even worked better than this song. It's still nice, and I'll enjoy it but it interrupts the flow a bit for me of the album as a whole.

It's the most gorgeous, interesting, relax, acoustic and folk song on the album, as well as Woman in me... It fits totally the general feeling of the album in a more mature and deep way !! It sounds such like a classic a la Bolton with a little bit of Beattles, Simon and Garfunkel : totally amazing.

 

The only weak track on this album is World to believe in : totally generic, nothing new, boring with annoying screams. Map to my heart should have replaced this one ! It's a shame to not have Map to my heart on this album; one of the most interesting track since a long time while they put World to believe in.

I'm not into the folky sound, but its cute...I don't dislike it. I just think that it really has no place on this album...it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I totally agree with you! Lucky you who listened to let me be your soldier! Map to my heart would have been more worth being on the album. Not that RNTTRO is awful, but it's not a great song neither. Then of course, let's forget not to wait to listen to the whole song for proper evaluation.

It fits the general sound of this album !

 

When you hear the whole track : New Dawn by Perry, it definitly has a folk/blues feeling, same with the blues sound of Woman in me, the acoustic, rock ballad sound of My love, and the country-pop rock sound of Can't fight the feeling... In this album there is definitly a rocky/folk feeling thanks to 4 songs, and Right next is just one of those songs that continues to explore it in a deeper way.

There's a chinese version of this song sang by a Taiwan female artist. Really nice. I was quite shock when I heard the clip.

In this clip the song sounds better, but still weird. The music is kind of strange, changes in a partcular way.

I like it more now, but I'd prefer some other song on the album.

This song reminds me of the Beatles and carnivals... two things I despise. Celine sings it great, perfect control... and I love the lyrics... but the music is killing me!

I like both, Celine's Version and as well Tim Christensen's they are not the different in motion...

for sure, Celine's Voice is HER Voice, THE Voice but Tim did a good job on the original, that Celine could use for the record.

 

And hey... it fit's the album Celine sang

And Celine took us to a folk waltz song with little spanish guitars... I like it, it's made for a little daydream of love, I think

 

I wouldn't replace any song on the album, I would add the others Map To My Heart, The Reason I Go On and Let Me Be Your Soldier (as well I never heard it Sung by Celine, any of you did???) and change a little bit on the numbers of the tracks... but that's all

Right Next To The Right One is a charming little song. It doesn't try to be anything else. It's not bombastic, melodramatic, there is no catharsis there. Sean83 said that "it's made for a little daydream of love", and that's what I think, too. You can listen to this song and just (day)dream away. So all in all, it's very pleasant to listen to. And it sort of calms you down.

Wow, Céline did a perfect copy of the original song of that Dennish guy adding just HER awesome voice!!!

The arrangations are sooooo exact!!

 

Unfortuantely I can't listen to the version of the Taiwanese singer - it's just loading veeery long and than stucks... Don't know what's wrong, I think that site gots to many graphic and Flash stuff and my laptop is just too lame for it, hehe...

 

Anyways, jt's not my favourite song on the album but not bad either! Different...

to be honest i like both but really his version is better tell me why because i think celine copied it really good but without the feeling (listen to his part when he says but its myself i need to blamethe second time )he sings it with a very nice way some times these touches are very important i wish celine listend to the song carfuly, but i really like her vorsion but its like it fits him more
