The broadcasting will be aired on November 19th at 9:00 p.m. ET on the Quebec TV-Network TQS. This interview will be about Celine Dion's new album: Taking Chances, and projects after Las Vegas.

It was actually very interesting, Jean Luc Mongrain really is a good interviewer. But their is something René said about money,

 

he said: I never did anything for the money, i didnt have any money until 10 years ago, i always lived like a millionaire but wasnt really in fact...

 

So he was spending all the money theyve maid until 1998? Sounds weird but possible!

Well, Celine began "major banking" during the "Falling Into You" era. The success of her album and her "Falling Into You" World Tour catapulted her financial ability. Then came "Titanic," "My Heart Will Go On," "Let's Talk About Love," and the LTAL World Tour. Then, her books, her perfume line, her sunglasses, and the commercial ability of the Celine Dion brand name.

 

In show business of this caliber, having one million dollars in the bank is not enough. I'm sure he wasn't "broke," but his resources were most likely more limited over ten years ago.
