Söndagen den 25 november kl.18.30 visas en exklusiv TV-special om Celine Dion på kanal 9.

 

Vi kommer att se Divan under inspelning av det nya albumet “Taking Chances”. Missa inte det!

 

 

I just noticed that SonyBMG's swedish site about Celine is up and running, looks like crap though

 

 

Anyway, is says that Kanal 9 will be airing a TV-special with the recording of Taking Chances

 

We've probably seen it all before, but still, nice

Celine Dion is back! Well, she was never really gone, she has been prforming in Vegas with her show 'A New Day'. And earlier this year she released yet another french album called 'D'elles'. She has also released albums like 'Miracle' and '1 Fille & 4 Types', but except for the french- and lullaby album it has actually been over four years since Miss Dion released an english album. That was 'One Heart', this one is called 'Taking Chances'.

That's also the name of the first single, and it might surprise you that it's co-written by Dave Stewart, from the duo Eurythmics. As many of you know, the second half of this duo is Annie Lennox. What many people don't know is that Annie is one of Celine's biggest idols, and that Celine actually participates in the new song "Sing" (with Madonna, Dido and Shakira to name a few)

Back to 'Taking Chances'. It can be described as something new for Celine Dion, and it's definitely among the rockiest and toughest she has ever done. Finally she has gotten the self-confidence let go and let her divine voice take us on new adventures.

And it is of course a very well produced album, like always. She has surpassed herself once again.

Nope, afraid it doesn't... I just hope they're SURE about this I guess we'll see lol

I'm definitely recording it, but I don't have any idea how to convert the dvd to a smaller file of some sort... unless some other swede can do it, some of you might be able to help me?

Well... at least they made a microsite on Celine.

 

Unfortunately, it looks like something they put together in an hour or two, and is like an online billboard for corporate ads.

I do... (jag tror att du också gör, om du bara gör en kanalsökning.. annars står det på deras hemsida hur du ska göra för o få in den) It's just gonna take a decade or two to upload it no, but it'll take a LOT of hours...

Watched it,

it was only half an hour and included sessions of; 'That's just the woman in me', a song with Ben Moody that's not on the album, 'Map to my heart' & 'Can't fight the feelin'. Though a great insight into the work of a vocal genius i still find it a bit odd that they call it "Taking Chances - The Studio Sessions" though it only included two songs actually on the album. However, they had a two hour documentary about Celine before this program and they have a competition to win two tickets to her concert in Sthlm

 

AND they have TV adds for TC now, FINALLY. Good thing to show it during the very popular IDOL as well. I'm sure sells will go up this week in Sweden
