[Unconfirmed] Celine to perfom on Strictly Come Dancing UK this Sunday

My Mum just rang me and said she saw it advertised that Celine will be performing on the results show this Sunday at 19.50.

 

Can't find any announcement online, but she said it was advertised on the TV. Hope it's true

Days like these make me happy I don't have BBC. Quite good excuse to not have to watch another crapertainment show just to see Celine mime her new song. Has any of their guest stars actually ever sung live?!

ok ok ok people i knew that celine was appearing on all of these shows...however...i was not sure on the dats for the baftas and for the divas night thing.....and people are sayin on sunday!?! this sunday!?!

ther eis nothing on the tv listings for both of these shows and i also thought that the divas show was on saturday n ight hence the name saturday divas!!!!!

The BAFTA thing and the Diva thing are being recorded on Sunday 28th but only being broadcast in November.

Possibly but in light of the texting controversy which has been going on you would think that deceiving fans would be the last thing they would do but youmay be right

I wouldn't be worried here at all. BAFTA is a rather dead-pan amd Divas is the best thing that could happen to her since it will discipline her big time. She will be full of energy cuzz she will know other singers are there, too - real singers, REAL competition and she loves competition especially on stage. She will be tired after it, yes, but not during.

BBC defends taped Strictly show

 

The BBC has responded to criticisms that its Sunday edition of Strictly Come Dancing is pre-recorded, stating that it was "never billed as live".

 

Some 25 viewers complained after seeing contestant Kenny Logan on ITV's live rugby coverage from Paris shortly after he had danced for survival on BBC One.

 

A BBC spokeswoman said it "never set out to trick people", adding that many other programmes are recorded as live.

 

The results show is pre-recorded after Saturday evening's live show.

 

The programme is taped after viewers' votes have been counted and verified. The live vote closes at 2100 BST

But as we know, Celine was busy on Saturday night at The X-Factor and she was back at her hotel for 10:30pm. She finished the Xtra-Factor interview at about 9:50pm but by the time she got out of the studio and to her hotel there wouldn't have been time for her to record a song at the Strictly studio's surely?

Hmm Ive looked on Sky, and it doesnt say anything, but it may be true, as last wee they has Andrea Bocelli and Katherine Jenkings.... I so hope she is on it.
