Something's fishy....

Okay something's real fishy with my sister. I'll start with this: she knows I've really been wanting to go to Vegas for Celine's show. she calls me today and says "What date is that show?" i told her the 12-13 cause that's the show i found tickets for. so i go on the air/hotel packages and the deal that i had seen previously which was pretty good (the one i would have gotten if i had the money) and which was available for the last few days... was no longer available.

 

She kept calling and saying things like "you told me it was the 11th!" and she was getting mad (couldn't tell if she was really getting mad or just joking). anyway then she said she would call back. she never did after that but she got home like a half-hour later. things started getting really weird, she walked in with a huge smile on her face and would start laughing/smirking everytime she looked at me. i didn't know why she was doing it... okay i had a thought in my head lol you would have too. also my mom had called from work earlier and said "are you still looking for Celine tickets?......call your sister..." so i thought that was a little awkward of my mom asking that.

 

any who I've noticed my sister has been really mean to me lately lol, like name calling and judgemental things, and she's never like that.... when i mentioned that she kind of froze and started laughing and said "yeah I'm giving you a taste of your own medicine" and i said "yeah i know what you're up too" i was hinting that she's being rude to me now because she's got something for me and it'll make up for that. I'm only saying that cause my other sister used to do that to me when i was little, lol she would try to make me cry and then she would hand me something she bought for me. but yeh when i said that she was like "no *giggle*"

 

then we went out and i showed my mom this camcorder ad for $288 and she said "drop the wanting to go see Celine/Vegas thing and I'll buy that for you next week"... i was like no lol. so we get back home and i thought i heard my sister say something about Vegas to my mom, with my mom replying "maybe, we'll see" then i heard my mom saying "would you seriously consider going to Vegas for two days?" and my sister said "Yeah! totally i would so go"... and my mom "well go see what you can do about it."

 

thing is, my birthday is on January 3rd... so I'm kind of thinking they are planning an early-surprise birthday present? i just think things have been a little fishy as stated in the title... what do you think?
